Chapter 243: Full Moon Lobotomy

"How is it going?" Sage chuckled when he came into Graeme's office and saw Theo instead with his head resting on the desk, his arms sprawled out on either side of him. 

"Fine," Theo sighed, pulling himself back up. "Just not sleeping well." 

"Oh? Why is that?" Sage asked, collapsing into the leather chair that was facing Graeme's desk. 

"It's complicated," he replied, rubbing his face. 

It wasn't really complicated. It was actually quite simple. He couldn't sleep with his mate, and he couldn't sleep without his mate. He couldn't complete his mate bond. All of these things were enough to make someone absolutely lose their mind, much less a little bit of sleep.
