Chapter 271: Zagan's Counsel

"What is it?" Zagan asked when Sage appeared in the dungeon where he and Penelope were impatiently guarding the cell Peter was in, wondering what was happening beyond the dungeon walls where the fight was. "What happened?"

"Something very unexpected, um…" he put his hands on his hips and stared at the ground. "Selah, my sister—Nedra and Seth's oldest, obviously…"

"We know who Selah is," Zagan interrupted. "I have known about her since she was born." 

"Right. Well, she was hurt and Grayson somehow came to her rescue. He felt her all the way from Gray Vale. They are mates. I was told that you two were down here, and I thought that perhaps you could help him figure some things out so he doesn't decide to rip the whole place apart."
