Chapter 2: Chapter 2 Meeting Anna by Chance

When Akasha woke up, she found herself in a strange place.

Everything here was different from what she knew.

Humans walked freely on the spacious street, without fear on their faces. There was no vampire on the street because Akasha didn't feel any of them.

But she still walked out of the alley exceptionally carefully and looked at the novel world curiously among the crowd.

When she looked around, the people around her also looked at her. It was rare to see a strange face in such a town.

She could clearly feel these gazes. Suppressing her sharp teeth, she clenched her fists and lowered them on both sides of her body.

"Don't give yourself away!" She tried her best to keep her elegant demeanor.

The people around her kept talking and whispering.

"Wow, she must be a daughter of a duke family. She is so gorgeous."

"She must have sneaked out. Look, her clothes are stained."

"Isn't this the princess who has run away? Hahaha!"

"What nonsense are you talking about? I think she is more like an angel, so pure, free from mud."

"It turns out that they can't recognize that I'm a vampire at all!" With ecstasy, she gradually relaxed her nervous mood.

"Hello, I'm Anna. Would you like to come in and have dessert with me?" A clear voice came out with a lively rhythm.

Looking at the direction where the voice came from, she saw a petite and lovely girl in a shawl dress waving at her. Her round eyes blinked like cats.

"Hello, I'm Akasha. Thank you for your invitation. I'm very happy!" With a smile, she waved at the girl.

Anna danced happily when she saw the response. Her fair face was full of happiness. She happily dragged her to the shop.

"The desserts here are so delicious. Have a taste, Akasha!"

Anna took a big spoon of dessert, smiled happily, and sighed with satisfaction.

The satisfied look on Anna's face aroused Akasha's interest in the strange dessert in front of her. Akasha picked up a small piece of dessert and tasted it carefully like Anna did.

"How is it? Is it delicious?" Anna's tearful cat eyes lit up as she stared at Akasha.

With her head resting on her hands, she pondered over what to say.

"Well, it tastes strange!"

Akasha couldn't tell what kind of flavor it was. It felt like she was chewing a tasteless sponge. She couldn't taste any human food.

But seeing that Anna liked desserts so much, she didn't want to disappoint her. So she took another bite and asked with a smile.

"Anna, I'm curious. What does dessert taste like to you? Can you describe it to me?"

Speaking of her favorite food, Anna's eyes lit up, as if a fire was about to burst out. She excitedly made a gesture with her hand.

"It's a good taste! The soft cake with the sweet fruit can probably heal all the unhappy!"

Hearing Anna's description, Akasha nodded and kept it in mind. It turned out that desserts tasted like this.

"Desserts give people happiness!"

Looking at Anna, who was burying her head and fighting with desserts like a small animal, and the desserts on the table, which were called desserts by humans, Akasha couldn't help but want to share the wonderful food with Anna.

"Akasha, I don't think you are from the town. Why are you here alone? Where are you going? Maybe I can give you a ride."

Resting her head on her hands, Anna was eating happily while talking to Akasha like a bird.

Thinking of her lonely situation as a vampire in the human world, she lowered her head sadly. Her blue eyes were covered with a layer of mist. Her voice was low.

"I don't know how I got here. I don't know where I am going now."

Seeing the disappointed look on her face, Anna thought for a while and smiled shyly.

She got up the courage to say shyly, "It's your first time here, isn't it? If you don't have a place to go, you can come to my house!" Her kind words sent out a warm signal like the sun.

"Great! Are you really willing to take me in? I'm so happy." Raising her head, Akasha looked at Anna with her bright eyes.

"Of course!" Anna nodded vigorously.

Anna's sweet smile lightened Akasha's heavy and tired heart. This strange world didn't seem to be so bad.

"Akasha, I'm really curious. Why did you come here alone?"

Sitting in the car back home, Anna walked up to her with a serious look and stared at her curiously.

"Well, in fact, I haven't figured it out myself yet."

She bit her lips, her eyes floating in the air. She recalled the scene before she fainted. She only remembered that the bracelet emitted white light and then she came to this place.

Akasha lifted the bracelet high and flat in front of her eyes, then lifted her other hand and poked the bracelet, tooting her lips and sighing.

"Oh, no response!"

"Here, this bracelet took me here."

"The bracelet brought you here! Hahaha! It's interesting! Are you from the world of magic?" Anna blinked her eyes slyly and smiled back and forth.

Looking at Anna's smiling face, Akasha knew that Anna must have taken her words as a joke. Scratching her head, she frowned and wondered how to explain it to Anna.

Should she tell Anna about her vampire identity? Although Akasha didn't want to lie to Anna, there seemed to be no vampire in the world.

Seeing Akasha's distressed look, Anna stopped laughing and gently tapped between Akasha's eyebrows.

"Well, don't frown. It doesn't matter if you don't want to tell me."

With hesitation in her eyes, she asked cautiously.

"Anna, do you know vampires?"

"Vampire! Of course, I know! That's cool!" Anna's eyes lit up and her voice suddenly rose, as if a child saw a novel toy.

"I heard that there was a vampire in medieval hundreds of years ago. But no one has seen a real vampire now. Akasha, are you going to say that you are a vampire? Hahaha! If you say you are an angel, I will believe you more."

Akasha sighed in her heart. Her words were like a fantasy story for Anna.

"Anna, why do you think I am here?"

"I guess you are an escaped noble lady."

Nodding helplessly, Akasha smiled. Ignoring her vampire identity and the different world, she was indeed a noble lady who had run away.

"Hahaha! I guessed it right!" Anna clapped her hands happily. If it weren't for the space restriction, she would have jumped up.

After a while, Anna calmed down. She deliberately coughed to show a mysterious expression. Covering her mouth with her hand, she whispered in Akasha's ear.

"In fact, I'm also a lady from a noble family. I sneaked into the town to eat desserts. What a coincidence! Now I'm taking you to my manor to have a look!"
