Chapter 57: Chapter 57: Fun with Franky!
Kai looked at the new man who just walked in and saluted. "Mr. Blueno! Is everything ok?"
The man who walked in, Blueno, nodded. "It is all fine now. We have apprehended both Nico Robin and Cutty Flam and are on our way to Enies Lobby."
Kai gave him a serious nod. "That's great news!"
Franky looked up at him with hatred in his eyes. "You're the bastard marine who betrayed the Straw Hats! I heard you captured Nico Robin after going undercover as one of them for months!"
Kai and Robin almost lost it, but they held in their laughter. Blueno once again looked shocked. How did they ALL fall for his undercover disguise? It was literally him wearing a marine coat? What the fuck is wrong with these people?! Blueno just sighed and shook his head. He set Franky, who was tied up, down and walked out of the room.
The second he left Kai set the wind barrier back up. "WAHAHA!/NISHISHISHI!" Robin and Kai laughed.
Kai looked up at Robin and made a face. "I hEaRd YoU CaPtUrEd Nico Robin!" Kai said in a mocking voice.
"Nishishishishi! Oh no! He's gonna come for me again! I better run!"
"Wahahaha! That's right, devil child! I'm gonna get ya! Prepare to face justice!" Kai said as he pretended to attack Robin. Franky was staring at them confused when he saw someone pop up in the corner of the room out of nowhere.
"Why are you two always such assholes?! How was he supposed to know?" Usopp yelled at them.
The two kept laughing and Kai said. "Cuz it's fuckin' funny how dumb you guys all are."
Usopp felt a tick mark appear on his forehead and he jumped at Kai. "Say that to my face, Masked bastard!"
Kai laughed. "Wahahaha! You're wearing a mask right now too, dumbass!"
Robin smiled and joined in. "Nishishishi! Which one is the Masked bastard? I can't tell!"
Usopp felt his own face for the mask and cursed. "Shit! I forgot I was wearing one!"
Kai and Robin laughed at him again before Franky cut in.
"What the fuck?" He asked.
"Oh yea, you're here. What's up Cutty?" Kai asked as he finally remembered someone else joined them as he was having too much fun with Robin.
"Don't call me that! My name is Franky!"
Kai just waved his hand. "Franky, Shmanky, who cares? How is the ship gonna come along?"
Franky sent a glare at Kai. "Why would I make a ship for someone who betrays his friends?"
"Uhh. Because I paid you." Kai said, causing Franky to think for a second before nodding. "Good point. It's going well."
Kai laughed at the idiot who just accepted that as a reason before saying. "I didn't betray those idiots anyway."
Franky perked up. "Really? That's great!"
Kai sighed. "Weren't you just with the love cook? Didn't he tell you I didn't betray anyone?"
Franky shook his head. "No."
"Dumbass love-cook. He was probably flirting with Tangerine or something." Robin giggled at this as she finally knew the reason Kai always seemed to trust and worry about Sanji slightly more than the rest of the Straw Hats.
Kai just sighed. "Whatever. Anyway Sogeking, you'll love this. I'm getting this tin can to incorporate Merry in the new design. So she can continue to sail with you guys until the end of your journey." Usopp froze and started to tear up.
"Thank you. Thank you both." He said as the tears started streaming down his face.
"Don't thank me, just go say sorry and beg everyone for forgiveness, dumbass. The crew needs you. Even though you are an idiot."
Usopp nodded. "Maybe after this is all over. But we still need to save Robin."
Kai nodded "Oh right, get out of here Sogeking. Join up with the Straw Hats and Sanji before you guys attack Enies Lobby, even if you were to manage to get devil-chan off of this train the buster call would kill you all. Your best shot is a full on frontal strike on their own island so they can't buster call it." Usopp nodded and left out the window he came through.
Kai looked over at Franky and clicked his tongue. Just when he finally got Usopp to leave, another idiot showed up. He wanted his alone time with Robin! Fucking bastards!
Robin glared at Franky and had a similar thought run through her head. Before she just sighed and continued waiting for the train to reach its destination.
Just then Kai cut it. "Ah by the way Bakaburg is still alive."
Franky had his jaw drop to the ground and tears poured out of his eye. "He's alive? I knew he wouldn't kick the bucket so easily! He's almost as super as me after all!"
Kai shook his head. "Whatever you say, Scrapy."
Robin was slightly intrigued. "Why are you calling him Scrapy?" She asked but before Kai could answer Franky jumped up and did a pose.
"Because I'm a SUPER cyborg!" Kai then poked his back with a needle and Franky yelped in pain.
Kai snickered. "Some cyborg you are."
Franky rubbed his back. "Only on the front! I couldn't reach behind me to upgrade myself."
"Nishishishi! Another interesting guy. What do you think the odds are that he joins the crew?" Robin asked and Kai placed a hand on his chin as if in deep thought.
"Hmmm. 100%"
Franky jumped back. "Wait! It's my decision! You can't decide for me!"
Kai looked at him silly. "Why not? I totally can."
Franky was shocked. "How?" Kai soru'd right up to his face and picked him up in a princess carry. "Like this." He said as he set Franky down again in a different seat with a bow tied to his chest that said 'Straw Hat's new member!!!!' and went to sit beside Robin who was still laughing at Franky.
Franky was staring dumbfounded at Kai as he couldn't even see him move. "What?! What did you do!?" He asked Kai who waved him off. "
Magic or something. Who cares? Anyway, what are you gonna do with those?" Kai said as he pointed to Franky's right arm.
Franky gasped and jumped backwards. "How did you know???? I hid them SUPER well!"
Robin giggled a little bit. "Does that mean that he has Pluton's whereabouts with him?"
Kai nodded. "God I love talking to smart people. Anyway, yes. Err… actually it's the blueprints to Pluton."
Robin then looked slightly confused and whispered to Kai. "Do they not know about where Pluton actually is?"
Kai nodded. "They have no clue. Even I was really surprised to find out that it was still on a certain island, even though I already knew about the blueprints."
Then Kai spoke up, no longer just whispering to Robin. "Anyway now the government has both the blueprints and the way to decipher them so the day where the government can change the world to its liking is drawing near."
The room's atmosphere turned cold as the tension grew in leu of the fact that the government may soon posses a weapon able to destroy the world.
"At least it the end of the world would be drawing near if not for a few key people." Kai added in a joyful tone after letting the tense mood continue for a little.
Robin smiled to herself. "They really came for me. Just like you said."
Kai nodded before he stopped her misunderstanding.
"Of course they did but I think you're missing something. It didn't really matter if they came or not cause I would never have let them take you away, or let Pluton fall into their hands. I would have saved you either way, devil-chan." Robin smiled and felt a warm feeling in her chest.
Franky was still very confused about what exactly was happening so he just asked. "What's even going on here? Whose side are you on?"
Kai thought for a moment before he responded in a duty filled voice.
"Justice!"
His voice contained righteousness and pride.
Robin started laughing again before she regained her calm and said. "Don't worry, Scrapy-san. He's a good guy."
Franky nodded at Robin's answer.
Franky just let it slide as Robin herself was saying good things about him. Kai went over his little plan once more and smiled to himself. The train arrived at Enies Lobby and the three of them got off together and walked up to the tower of justice into a room with Spandam and the rest of the CP9 agents. The now 7 CP9 agents were all in the room doing their own things.
They didn't listen to anything that Spandam was saying as he was such an idiot even his own subordinates didn't care enough to listen. Spandam had purple hair and a mask on his face covering over half of it. He was sitting at a table across the room from Robin and Franky. Kai was standing closer to him near the window behind Spandam.
Kai was looking out the window at the entrance when Spandam said. "Who is this random commander in my room? Why did you let him in here?"
Blueno heard this and cut in. "He was the one who was about to capture Nico Robin when we got there. He went undercover for months."
Blueno decided to omit the part about Kai wearing his marine cape the entire time he was undercover. Then he thought about it for a moment and realized it probably didn't matter as Spandam was such an idiot he probably would fall of that disguise just like the Straw Hats did. Alas, it no longer mattered as he had already disregarded the detail when speaking.
