Henley.....
I sit down at the passenger seat next to my dad, my bag's at the back seat, he start the engine and drive slowly down the road.
I wake up this morning quick because I don't want to get late at my first day in school, after taking a quick shower, I step down to the kitchen were my mom was already making breakfast, gladly lin was up already, I glare at her and she look me back with a question eyes,
' I know honey but I don't want to talk about that now' I said to my self as I put some pancake in my mouth.
Everyone seems to be hurried, Dad join us at the table and start eating, we finish in time and we left living lin and mom at home.
After driving for some minutes, the school came to view. Dad pack at the packing lot and we step down.
' thank god dad is here with me ' I exhale as I walk behind him.
We meet the principal and he direct me to my class, dad walk with me till we find it, no teacher but few student are in already.
" alright honey, am living now I still have someone to take to school " he smile and pull me in a hug.
" Mr Carter " a voice came behind us
We both look at the man. He's tall, he has a short black hair with beard, he's smiling at us, I could tell, he's our teacher.
" Am Mr Andry... The teacher " he said
" nice to meet you Mr Andry... " Dad said and glare at his watch " shit .... Henley I will pick you up.. Have a nice day " he walk away.
Gladly, Mr andry introduce me to the class and he direct me to my seat, few student stare at me while some glare and roll there eyes, I walk to my seat, luckily I was alone in the seat.
Mr andry explain alot And I pay attention to all he said. It was lunch time and I walk out, not knowing which way to the canteen. Sudden I heard someone talking towards me, I have no idea who that is, I wanted to turn to the direction but I force myself not to.
" I can walk you to the canteen " a girl said standing some feet away from me, she has a friendly face that obviously smiles all the time, she has a blonde hair and her blue eyes, I can tell
" sure please " I said and she walk expecting me to follow and I did.
" actually am new here... My name is" I started but she cut me off.
" Henley... I know that already " she said " we can be friends if you don't mind" she walk into the canteen and I followed
" of course I would love to... " I said as I seat beside her.
" my name is Juliea " she said " I like your hair "
" oh Actually.... my mom handwork, thanks ".
" are you new here in Washington? "
"Yes.. " " from las Vegas " I said.
We talk as we eat our lunch, after lunch, Juliea introduce me to all her friends and am glad we all have the same subjects.
" He said he love her in public " Sandra said
" that's true love to me " Juliea said
" but he never care about her, you remember that day at the party? " Emily said
" maybe he didn't make up his mind than... But am sure he love her now" Juliea explain
" that's weird to me" Sandra said
" story of the God's " Emily added
" what ever... Henley " juliea called
" sorry I can't interfere because I don't know anything " I said
" Common henly... I just don't want you to feel isolated " Juliea said and I smile.
Juliea was so cool though we only meet today, I already felt like I was with her for week's now. everything went gradually and cool. I enjoy everybit of the lesson and we are done for today.
" Hey san, how was your date? " Emily ask
" he's so hot, he took me to the expensive hotel " Sandra answer delightful
" OCH that what we hear all the time and next was break up " juliea said looking away " I will never want anything to do with relationship "
" Henley... Have you been in a relationship before? " juliea ask
I never for once thought about having a relationship before, that's wierd, " no am not interested, I have my parents to spend time with" I smiled
" that what make's you a full me.. I like you Henley. I like you already " juliea said as we walk out to the gate.
Lot of expensive cars were pack outside, it seems the school is full of rich people, sudden I spot a car that almost go away with my breathe. It was my dream car. I love Mercedes, I stared at it continuously. I promise to buy this car when I got a job.
" You like it don't you? " Emily said seems to notice me. I nod still looking at the car " there he comes... The hottest and the popular guy in the school "
I look at her direction. There are some group of boy's but I spot the exact person she's talking about. He wear white T-shirt and black jeans. He's hands are smother into his pocket. His hair was curled just like a girl. I try to find the word hot but nothing seems to attract me.
" Oh yes...That's Henry...son of Edward" juliea said after noticing our reaction
" really .... Who is Edward? " I ask looking away from him but just as I do, I found the girls staring at me. " What!? "
" don't be serious please.. You don't know Edward? " Sandra ask seriously
" seriously I don't... Who is he anyway? " I ask
" no one but a bloody mother f****ker " juliea answer
" Edward is one of the richest in america, he's The one in power here at Washington.. Everyone is scared of him" Sandra reply
" Not everyone... Cause am not scared of him " juliea corrected
" sounds Awkward " I said and glare back at him. I don't like him from the first sight. Am glad am not the only one who don't like him, juliea had my back. She's right, I am her completely.
Driving back home with my dad was fast. He ask little question and I delightful answer him. I got home and spend sometimes with mom telling her about my new friends at school. So happy to have them especially juliea, she's the most beautiful among the rest and I like that too.
