Chapter 62: Demon Beast Subjugation

Winter came and the Heralds still have not returned. With the Winter, came another wave of Demon Beasts. As Winter always made them ravenous and aggressive. They would come out in droves.

The Minotaur and Orc took great pleasure when the demon beasts begun to run rampant. As monster species that relish combat and violence. They went out to fight eagerly. In spite of the threat of death, as some did die. Not too many though, single digits a day. As the Minotaur and Orcs are now much better equipped and trained.

Before, they would fight wildly and barely used any tactics or strategy. Now they fight as teams, like an army with all the tactics and strategy.

They were not the only monsters on the field though. Kobolds and goblins would often support as harassers and item users. The Wendigo would run through the Demon Beasts like howling winds. Sometimes Harpies would join and attack from above.
