Chapter 2: Chapter 1 The Beginning
Nueva " Son, you have taken your first life. Intentional or not your body is gonna start to change. The environment that we are in is not suitable for your current change and you may need some time to adapt to your changes so we are going to move."
" But Mom I don't understand what you mean? Why do we have to move? It was just a car accident. Even if I get into trouble because I drove underage, with your connections it shouldn't matter right?"
Nueva " No. There's something else that is going to happen and we need to move to a quiet place for a while."
Starrk " Honey gathering the things. We'll move once
Seeing the serious expression of my mother. I knew I couldn't convince her to change her mind. I also knew that I needed some time to also deal with the death of my friend. About three days ago, was my birthday and I had just turned 16. I stole my mother's car key while she was sleeping and took her car and went to pick up my friend. However, during the drive, I got distracted and ran into a tree killing my friend in the process. For the next two days, my family and I have been dealing with the police and apologizing to my friend's family.
About a week later, my parents and I moved to a small town called Beacon Hills in California. In this week, my parent's explained to me of our bloodline. We were a family of werewolf immortals and now I am too now that I have killed a person. It was a lot to take in and my strength has been growing without knowing its limits.
I had to slowly do things in order to not break everything in the house and everything else around me. To be honest, this experience felt great. Food tasted ten time better and I could hear and smell all sorts of things miles away from me. I felt invincible with my new strength and felt like nothing could ever stop me. However, I also noticed a change in my behavior as it became quicker for me to become angry and it was harder for me to regulate all of my emotions and not overreacting over everything which was even harder for me as killing my best friend was still weighing on my mind.
Nueva: " You have to be careful now. Although it's only been a few weeks, your power will grow exponentially and you will still need time to adjust to your strength. A full moon is also coming up in a week so we will have to prepare you for that."
I nodded my head, " Okay mom, I understand. I will try to be as careful as I can."
Starrk " Stay low until you gain a better understanding of your new abilities and we can tell you more once you undergo your first transformation."
" I understand dad. Thanks."
Although I still felt depressed over moving, I managed to pull myself together and start this new life ahead of me. I mean I got all the time in the world now don't I?
I soon enter class as my teacher introduced me.
Teacher, " Hello class, we have a new transfer student, Aaron Wolf. He is also new in town so make sure you guys show him around."
My teacher instructed me to be seated next to a girl who had pale white skin with a slim body and black hair. As I sat down next to her, I introduced myself with a smile, " Hi. I'm Aaron wolf."
The girl smiled back and replied, " Hi, I'm Allison Argent."
Seeing that the girl was friendly, I asked, " Allison, can you help me look around town or tell me more about this place. I just got here and I wanted to get to know this place a little more."
Allison " Sure, currently we have a missing friend, if you want to come help us search for her, my friends and I are meeting up to go help find her."
Uh a missing girl? Isn't this supposed to be a low-key town? " Sure. Just let me know the time and place."
Allison, " Great the more the better."
We then exchanged numbers and continued listening to the class. Although I did not pay attention to much. Mostly because there was someone who kept on giving me glances. My senses were giving off that he was someone like me. A werewolf. I think he also noticed it too with the several times that he looked towards me.
Daydreaming about how to spend an immortal life and to be honest, I have no idea. I might just learn everything there is to learn, create an organization , and then sleep until I feel like waking up again haha. But I'll see what's happens down the line.
School soon passed by quickly and I went home.
I threw my bags home and then ran quickly towards my mom, " Mom, did you know that there are werewolves in this town?"
Nueva " Well, there are werewolves almost everywhere son. Some are just better at hiding than others. Did you only see one?"
" Yeah. I think he noticed me too. Oh yeah, I'm going to go help a classmate that I met help find her. If that's okay?"
Nueva " Hmm. Sure why not. I'm glad that you have already made friends. Just make sure you control yourself out there."
" Sure."
I then went to my room to do some homework while thinking about school and everything else. I overheard rumors about Allison's aunt killing a bunch of people by setting their house on fire and some stuff about animal killings. I thought that it was weird but I guess I would find out eventually as I hang out with them more. I also saw that she was pretty close to the other werewolf there along.
'knock' 'knock'
Nueva " Son can I come in?"
" Come in mom."
My mom came and pulled up a chair to sit next to me. " There's something that you need to know. With our abilities, there are bound to be a few of us that are discovered by normal people because there are several supernatural creatures that aren't able to control themselves from their animalistic instinct. In return this people hunt supernatural creatures like us. Although we have an immortal life, there are some things that can still hurt or even kill us."
" I understand mom, I'll be careful."
Nueva " However, those refer to the regular supernatural creatures. Since you are our child you have our complete bloodline of primordial werewolves. Ordinary wolfsbane and silver won't kill us. The things that can kill us is hard to find and even harder to obtain. Therefore, for the most part, you should be fine because you will be stronger than most werewolves."
" Well that's good to know mom." Thinking in my head that it was kind of scary to know that we can be hunted if known about. However, knowing that it is near impossible to be killed.
'ding' I looked at my phone which was from Allison which sent me her current location. I ran quickly to the location which sent me deep into the forest and in front of what seems to be like an abandoned house.
There I saw three people, two boys and Allison.
Allison began to introduced me, " Scott, Stiles, this is Aaron Wolf the new transfer student and... "
Scott " And a Werewolf."
Hearing Scott say that, I smiled and said, " So you knew huh."
Scott, " Yeah, I hate to ask but I have to know, is there a particular reason you are here?"
The two of us stared at each other intensely as if we were both on high alert to fight if necessary.
I continued, " Hmm, something happened back at my hometown and my family and I moved here to adjust to a quiet life for a bit. I'm kind of new to being a werewolf as I haven't experienced my first full moon yet. So I'll see how that goes in a few days."
Scott " Does your family know about you? Being a werewolf that is."
" Of course. My family is a family of werewolves."
Stiles " Umm guys. Are you guy done talking, we came here for a reason."
Scott shook out of the stare and said, " Sorry, you are right."
Just as Scott and the rest was about to step towards the house, Scott stepped on a rope and he was abruptly sprung upwards upside down with the wire wrapped around one leg. Seeing that this seemed like a trap I narrowed my eyes and began to use my hearing to listen to any footsteps that may be around us.
" There's people coming here."
Scott quickly said, " Quick, hide."
It was then we hide a few trees away from Scott and in the next few moments, a few men with crossbows came out and approached Scott.
I narrowed my eyes as I saw them. Even thought I haven't met any hunters yet, but the way they held themselves I immediately knew that they can't be hunting for just ordinary animals. " Hunters."
I tightened my fists and got ready to fight if the hunters were going to hurt or kill Scott.
Chris " Scott."
Scott " Mr. Argent"
Chris " how are you doing?"
Scott " Good. You know, just hanging out. Is this one of yours? It's uh good."
Chris " What are you doing here Scott."
Scott " looking for my friend."
Chris " Ah that's right, Lydia is in your group now isn't she. A clique? Or is there another word to put it, a pack."
It was then when my suspicions were confirmed. They were indeed hunters.
It was at this moment when I tuned out what they were saying and focused my attention on Allison. Argent. That was also her last name. That must mean that she is also a hunter. This is bad. My first friend here turns out to be a hunter. Since she also knows about us being werewolves, it could only mean one thing, she is a spy. Why was Scott friends with a hunter?
Debating on whether to kill her now or later, the men soon left without harming Scott just like that which made me confused. Don't they kill us when they find out if we are supernatural creatures.
Once the men completely left, Scott brought out his nails and cut himself down while staring at me with killing intent. However, I completely ignored him and grabbed Allison by the throat and lifted her up.
Scott yelled out, " Get away from her!!"
