Chapter 31: The Fourth Precinct

Luca found it funny how her years of acting and playing different roles saved her from getting found out. But what was even amusing was that, for her, acting was a form of art to express herself, and she was lucky to have gotten a lot of money because of it.

Now, she was acting not as a form of art, but to save herself from what she assumed was a dangerous situation. 

Fortunately, Rex wasn't the type to raise questions. He simply drove them off back to the hotel, giving her the general idea of the progress of his own mission. 

From what Luca and Nova had found out on their way to the hotel, Rex received a mission from the chief (Luca) to investigate another matter. The only reason he was in here was that the higher-ups wanted to talk to the chief, but Luca had cut off all forms of connections she had with the office.
