As she glanced toward her phone for the hundredth time this week. She couldn't help but do so. Everything was perplexing.

As she closed the message chat of the man she listed as "Ez-ex-kiel", she felt a lot of mixed emotions.

Their relationship ended a year ago because of both of their respectful faults. They hurt themselves and each other, and Ezra deemed that they were not fit for one another.

She didn't want to give them another chance. She was afraid that she would hurt him more.
