At the morgue the same blonde that Kai chowed down on was chowing down on the Medical Examiner's assistant that had a thing for necrophilia.
And that was when Katherine made an appearance, as she was ready to collect her new chess piece.
"Elena, you did this to me." Jenna shouted and vamp sped at who she thought was her niece only for her niece to grab her by her throat and slam her down on the metal examination table.
"Little dove I'm not your niece, now you're going to do exactly as I say or sweet little Elena and that cute puppy of a nephew of your's are going to suffer." Katherine whispered as she stroked Jenna's cheek lovingly while her smile was sweet but the words and voice didn't fit her threats but the woman that looked like Elena terrified her.
"W-what d-do you want?" Jenna questioned as she struggled to speak with the hand closed around her throat.
"My freedom…the world…to make the little bitch that stole my face suffer, at least that was how I used to think…but now I want to make my man happy by any means necessary." Katherine replied back to Jenna, her eyes growing a bit distant as she spoke before she mentioned Kai, a small ditzy smile making its way onto her lips.
"W-why did I have to die…to make him happy?" Jenna asked as she fought against the urge to sob.
"Hmm, you didn't. In truth I was only feeding you and that cute tortured little puppy of a nephew of your's because he didn't want Elena to lose anymore family due to the Doppelganger curse that brought Elena's parents' killer into town." Katherine hummed and tapped her free hand's pointer finger against her bottom lip.
"Elena's parents drowned, it was an accident…what do you mean curse?" Jenna asked in a shocked tone of voice that held tinges of becoming distraught.
"They did…but Grayson was forced off of the road by a vampire appearing in front of the car, in a jump scare. Elena should have died with her parents but, the previously mentioned vampire wouldn't let the target of his affection die, not after he went through the trouble of helping them along to the other side." Katherine replied leaving Jenna reeling by everything she'd been told by the woman who looked like her niece except this woman had bigger breasts and an air of seductive maturity Elena lacked.
"Why did he kill me?" Jenna suddenly asked after her eyes became dull, pleasant feelings running through her body as the best fucking she'd ever gotten in her life was given by the same man that killed her.
"He…didn't mean to, it was also his first feed as a vampire he died saving someone else's life." Katherine whispered her voice carrying some amount of grief over his death as a human.

Alone with only my thoughts as company for the moment, I started going over everything from the last couple of days as I took a blunt out of my cigarette case and took a big pull off of it.
Shutting my eyes as I realized the blonde woman I'd fed on, fucked and killed was Jenna Sommers, Elena and Jeremy's aunt Jenna I felt a little remorseful.
But those feelings quickly went away as I couldn't change the past, as I opened my eyes and turned on the tv.
'Well, technically…I could, but I'm not going to fuck with time magic.' I thought to myself as I turned on the TV and flipped through channels to find something to watch, settling on TMNT.
"Hey, I brought you something to eat." Katherine greeted me as she flopped down onto the couch beside me handing me a Dunkin Donuts Coffee cup that smelled sweetly of blood.
"Thanks, what have you been up to?... nevermind I don't want to know." I thanked Katherine before asking her what she'd been doing only to change my mind and tell her I didn't want to know and could feel her pout with her entire body.
"You can be such a dick sometimes." I Katherine told me in a pouty voice as she snuggled against me.
"Yup." I replied while popping the P, just before bringing the cup to my lips and taking a sip of the blood that's taste reminded me of a slightly bitter hot coco.
"Any luck on finding my daughter?" Katherine asked softly with very evident emotions in her voice.
"Not yet but I will, I had a run in with the Hellsing family tonight." I told Katherine, feeling her tense at my side.
"I'm glad you're home safe." Katherine whispered vulnerably.
"Me too." I joked with a slight laugh in my voice as I threw my arm around Katherine and smoked my blunt while continuing to watch TMNT.
"You know, I'm surprised you can still smoke that." Katherine suddenly said to me softly as she sounded sleepy with her head resting against my shoulder.
"Once you get past the thirst, the vampire enhancement is only a bit better than my super witch ritual." I said softly before taking another drag on my blunt.
"Only because you're a newborn, once you get 200 plus years under your belt you'll see that being a vampire is better." Katherine whispered softly as she nuzzled her cheek against my chest now half laying across me.
"Katherine, with the way that the technology on earth is constantly evolving…I don't think vampires are going to manage to stay under the radar much longer, I give it until the 2030's through 2050's until vampires are discovered by the main populace and vampire hunters become commonplace." I told Katherine my honest thoughts as it'd been something always at the back of my mind when I thought about becoming a vampire.
"Don't worry, most governments are controlled by vampires from the shadows." Katherine told me but I just shook my head as even though Katherine has seen the rise and fall of countless countries and governments this was something different. Humanity would rise to the challenge to hunt the monsters that see them as food even with the few people who were vampire groupies trying to prevent it.
