Chapter 20: YOUR LIPS ARE SWOLLEN
Liu Wei walks elegantly towards the open place and even looks like there's nothing much about to happen. But in reality she felt anxiety pressing into her chest and even the air felt thinner. Her body was shaking and her heart was beating faster and faster.
Even though she had just had such an unpleasant conversation with Chen Fu, the mere fact that she could finally be alone with the queen again made any bad feelings go away.
The queen watched the movement near the door leaning against the wall and soon caught the familiar scent of mint and prepared to pull Liu Wei by the arm.
The movement was a little abrupt and even startled Liu Wei, but there was no time for reaction and when she least expected it they were pressed against each other in a small dark place hidden behind the palace.
They could both feel each other's heavy breath hitting their skin.
Hot.
They looked like outlaws... The tension added to the excitement of the moment, the risk of being caught at any moment.
So dangerous and exciting. Liu Wei could feel her weak legs.
Wang Zheng could now get a close look at the woman she had spent the night watching. Her heart was troubled and nervous.
Liu Wei in one simple movement took a small sip of the wine he had carried with her. Luckily she didn't spill all the wine when she was pulled by the queen, but the contents of the cup were still intact.
"You brought wine..."
The little princess gently smiled. "Yeah, I said we'd drink together when we were alone."
The queen smiled with that gesture. "Yes…" The queen looked on edge. She somehow tried to hide in the other omega's embrace, those feelings were so new to her... she always lived safe and confident in everything, but why did she feel so helpless when others approached Liu Wei?
The queen was so sensitive and emotional, her heart felt torn apart and a strong feeling of disappointment hovered over her senses.
On the other hand for Liu Wei, it was very strange to see the woman in front of her showing all her frailty like that. She could feel the heavy breath against her chest, the sweet smell of pineapple. All this made her glands burn.
She felt like she was going crazy for this woman.
The queen briefly raised her head and took the cup from Liu Wei's hand and without delay drank half of the contents in just one gulp. Soon after, she placed the delicate glass in a small space on the wall, close to where they were leaning, which most likely was once a window and with time lost its use and ended up being closed permanently.
Wang Zheng pressed his body even more against Liu Wei's, their noses brushed and they were drunk with the pineapple mint tangle that surrounded them.
When their lips finally touched they could feel their bodies lighter and their hearts quicken. The kiss was at first delicate and gentle, but their confused and heavy feelings made their movements increasingly strong and conflicting, it was a tangle of tongue and teeth that made them lose their breath.
The sweet taste of the wine made the kiss all the more delicious and lustful. They knew that the excess of intimacy and desire was taking them down a path of no return. But Liu Wei and Wang Zheng wanted to dive headfirst and freefall.
The air became scarce, they reluctantly needed to stop the kiss to breathe and even the small distance of inches felt huge, their breaths slamming against each other's faces.
Liu Wei could see the confusion on the queen's face, her heart was heavy.
She wanted to be able to comfort and soothe her.
The queen in a childish act just placed her face on Liu Wei's chest. She closed her eyes and sighed. She was so embarrassed. She was dying of jealousy and it felt so stupid to feel that way, she was so irrational and so childish.
Liu Wei realizing the queen's frustration and just decided it would be better not to say anything and remain quiet and gently caressed the black strands of the person she wanted so much.
"I'm feeling jealous for the first time."
Wang Zheng didn't move and kept hiding his face as he hugged Liu Wei. The muffled voice seemed to resonate throughout the princess's body.
She was surprised. "Jealousy? About me?"
The queen just nodded in a positive way. "Who was that alpha you were talking to?"
Liu Wei stopped for a second to think who the queen was referring to and within a few seconds she answered. She felt funny. "My cousin."
Wang Zheng was silent for a few seconds and sighed heavily, she felt so wrong and so small to confess that feeling and to make matters worse it was so embarrassing.
"I feel stupid."
Liu Wei was surprised and happy. But seeing the queen so vulnerable like that bothered her enough that she couldn't celebrate the small victory.
She touched the queen's chin lifting it slightly. They needed to have their gazes connected. "Look at me."
Wang Zheng obediently followed the movement, her gaze did not waver for a second and they now faced each other.
"You're not stupid..." Liu Wei approaches Wang Zheng's ears and whispers, "If you're going to be jealous of someone, be jealous of me... Understand?"
The queen could feel that her legs were shaking and her body seemed to lose all strength after hearing those words.
Liu Wei tightened the grip between them and gripped the other omega's waist more tightly.
The voice is hoarse and almost muted. "I want you to be jealous only of me, it's not stupid... I want everything you can offer me."
The queen shivered feeling her hot breath hit her neck, her exposed skin was hot and if she'd ever felt sensitive before, now she could feel her body throbbing.
Wang Zheng who was previously upset by her jealousy now had to deal with the torture of being so close to Liu Wei. Her glands were hot and burning.
The sweet taste of mint, along with the alcohol in the wine, only increased her intoxication.
They kiss more and more.
Muffled moans could be faintly heard. They were reaching the limit.
Liu Wei gently moved the queen away from her. They were breathless and flushed. Restless hands didn't know where to land.
She sighed. She wanted more, but it wouldn't be possible now, she understood that she needed to earn her own space in Wang Zheng's heart and there was still a competition to be played.
"You are the queen, it is impossible not to notice your absence. Come back."
Wang Zheng didn't like the idea of moving away from Liu Wei, but she agreed that the other was right. She couldn't afford to disappear for so long and leave her guests completely alone.
"Is that you?"
"Looks nice here, I'll stay a few minutes." Liu Wei was extremely blushing and unconsciously touched her glands, she needed to calm down before entering... The queen blushed upon noticing her state.
Wang Zheng gently approached and gave Liu Wei one last kiss, sweet and calm.
They parted and the queen avoided looking back, she feared she wouldn't be able to return to the hall if she did and only heard the husky voice of the young omega.
"Drink something cold, your lips are swollen."
The queen turned her face slightly towards the direction Liu Wei is facing and nodded her head positively.
Upon entering the lounge again she goes straight to the drinks table she took a glass of water and left it full of ice cubes.
She could smell the mint clinging to her clothes. Sweet.
Liu Wei after some time returned to the party and could watch the queen talk quietly with some guests, she continued drinking and talking to Anna while waiting for the time to return to her room.
The young omega watched the queen finally bid her guests farewell and leave the banquet with Huan Yang.
She sighed into her heart. She could still feel the burning in her glands, those feelings were starting to get uncontrollable.
Liu Wei also decided to return to her room, she felt she needed a good shower and a peaceful night's sleep.
Huan Yang could see the blush on the queen's face and soon noticed that from the amount of pheromone the queen was in estrus.
Wang Zheng's estrus used to be very light and quiet, the queen had no major problems, but this time she seemed to be feverish and anxious. He can't help but feel worried.
"Your majesty want inhibitors?"
She shook her head in the negative. "I want you to ask Liu Wei to come to my room and leave us alone. Don't knock on my door until further notice.
