Chapter 2: New Area
Carl has been woken by Minho, Carl wasn't that much of a morning person even before transmigrating sometimes he even sleep until noon. But Carl pushed himself to wake up because this is a chance to get stronger.
"Carl wake up we need to be early so we don't have to come back late, come on," Minho said while looking at the person who looks like a corpse.
"yes...~ yes...~" Carl was rubbing his eyes off but still checks his system for new missions and he got two missions one is inside the walls and one for the outside.
"Here is some water you need energy after all and eat this apple on the way," Minho said while opening his backpack and grabbing the things.
"Thanks, I needed that I'm not very much of a morning person as you might see"
"I see that but why are you blankly staring at something"
"Oh. I'm sorry, still processing things my brain isn't working normally in the morning."
"Okay meet me at the gate we will be there."
"Okay, thanks again Minho," Carl said while fist-bumping Minho.
"Sure dude," Minho said while also fist-bumping Carl.
Minho left and Carl ate his apple and washed his face and clean up he then saw Gally and greeted him good morning while gally just nod at him. then he saw Thomas with Alby talking he already know what they were talking about but still he greeted them. they also greeted Carl and went off Carl then checks the missions that he got from the system.

"This will be easy," Carl thought while running toward the Runners he was fast it only took 5 seconds for Carl to get there. But they already started running without him towards the maze Carl was still surprised but then quickly ran towards Minho.
"Carl nice catching up you're fast I give you that but being fast isn't the only thing you need in the maze you also need to memorize the routes," Minho said while running with Carl they eventually met up with the other runners Carl listened to Minho carefully because he needs the exp.
"Okay, I think I got it" then Carl received a notification about the mission that he got but he didn't open it yet he still need to memorize the sections in the maze.
A few hours passed it was already beginning to get dark and the runners said they should get going now before the Grievers came. While Carl was listening to them Minho then slapped Carl's back.
"Come on Carl you just need to be fast so let's bet who is faster, the first one to the camp wins," Minho said while already running and also alarming the other runners and then they started running. But Carl was faster than all of them they didn't even stand a chance against him he was like an athlete with a horse's legs.
"How come are you so fast Carl?" Minho said while panting heavily while the others were also beside Minho panting.
"You just need a proper way to breathe that's all."
But their fun was shortly ended by Alby saying Ben has been stung of course Carl already knows that but he still pretended to be worried while Minho was being silent.
"Come he's in the prison we will need to banish him so we need help. GET THE SPEARS!" Alby said while everyone got alarmed but still gets the spears they don't want to be infected after all.
"Minho get Ben's things he will need them, and Carl we need you to help us with Ben you're the strongest here."
"Sure Alby" Carl left while being accompanied by two other people, Carl then reached the wooden prison then opened it for Ben. But the other two were hesitant it was cruel to send Ben away but they needed to do it.
"I'm sorry" one of them whispered to Ben and another one just have a sad look on his face like he was about to cry.
They soon reached the wall while other people were surrounding the outer layer and the others were in front. When Ben saw this his face quickly turned from depressed to begging he didn't want to die. Carl then tossed him inside the ring and Alby then talked to everyone but Carl wasn't interested he just left. Other people then saw him and quickly said he is a cold person but he just doesn't want to see a person die.
Carl then opened the system and claimed the rewards he then saw a mini-app appearing in the corner of his eye but it didn't block his view. it is just there without any discomfort he then saw some dots on his map a lot of green and one red.
There was another red on the map but it was far away he then heard the gates close. He was still thinking about the exile he knows how dangerous the maze is but Carl already knows how he died.
Carl sighed and look again in the shop he found a training sword for 50 SP it's called Arthur's training sword.

After eating Carl was laid back on the grass resting while he saw a green dot approaching him and he let him get closer to him. It was Alby talked to Carl about it was needed for the Gladers to do that.
But Carl didn't care he was just silent every time and Alby left while looking at Carl saddened but Carl has now ambition. You can see it in his eyes his lust for power he then pulled out his training sword from the inventory.
He swung his sword at a tree making a few pieces fall off he just swung his sword with determination and concentration. He continued hitting the tree at the same spot making his swordsmanship more refined and more elegant to look at. His back muscles were bulging his eyes were solely concentrated on the tree he didn't know the tree was about to fall off but he still dodged it. He then swung his sword at a new tree he continued doing this until the morning come the first who noticed Carl was Alby. Carl passed out holding his sword not knowing how strong he is Alby quickly shouldered Carl to the clinic.
Carl was covered with sweat and his hands were full of calluses and bruises his well-toned muscles were more refined. Even though his sword was sturdy as iron and had a bit of chipping his body was like made by the gods. it wasn't too muscular and not too skinny it was a balanced body his face also got more elegant. Other people couldn't stop looking at him even when he was sleeping he looked more like a handsome Prince. they then removed his clothes and changed his clothes and left making him alone and letting him rest.
