" If it's proven that you are lying then I am afraid that the matter won't end in just you getting punished, you and your family can be executed on the grounds of trying to spread untrue rumours, are you prepared for it?" 

" I …" Ashlyn hesitated after listening to Bree's words, if it was just her then she would have taken the risk but if even her family was being tangled in this mess then—-

Just as she was thinking about whether she should just take her words back, a hand squeezed hers causing her to once again raise her head. No, she was Ron's mate, as a mate of a brave knight, she cannot do something as cowardly as retreating just because she was scared of losing her life.
