Chapter 44: The Battle Of Three-Headed Zombie King - Part 1 - Chapter 44
"What is your name?"
Germas asked the woman.
"I am Laxia; nice to meet you."
"I am Germas; these four people are my teammates."
"First of all, I have to tell you that I am going to be a defender, and I need to take some rewards too."
Laxia nodded. In comparison to supporters who will remain behind and only provide support to attackers and defenders, it is only natural for this defender named Germas to want to be rewarded.
In the end, defenders took the risk of taking the full-frontal damage of the Three-Headed Zombie King.
and then asked as she looked at the group of people behind her.
"Who wants to be an attacker?"
"
A familiar voice resonated in the heads of people as the question was asked.
"I will be an attacker!"
This man who spoke is none other than "Alan" himself.
The eyes landed on Alan, and then some faces showed admiration. It is no easy feat to volunteer as an attacker. In the end, even if the rewards are bountiful, the risk is high.
Attackers do not have the endurance and defensive capability of defenders. With one clean hit from the Three-Headed Zombie King, it will be the end of an attacker. which includes Alan too.
He is not in the position or power to take any damage from the Three-Headed Zombie King.
Germas looks at Alan for some time before turning to speak with his teammates. Laxia smiles and gets close to Alan, then starts to talk.
"It is good to see that there are courageous people like you here helping us."
"But, I still need to let you know that being an attacker is dangerous, and you need speed and power."
Alan smiles and swings his sword. The sword grazes the hair of Laxia in less than a second, creating some sort of air force.
Laxia takes a deep breath and comments. "I felt nothing; I was only aware that he used his sword after he put it back in its sheath."
"This guy is dangerous."
Laxia thought, her face showing admiration and some sort of fear at the same time.
"Yeah, I understand it right now."
Laxia backs down and smiles as she looks at others.
The teams are separated in ten minutes. The team of Germas and six more people will be working as defenders. which means ten people are designated as defenders.
Laxia and her team of four to six more people will be working as supporters. Ten people, including Alan, will be attackers, and ten people will be ranged attackers.
All the teams are equal in size and number.
which is what Laxia wanted to see.
Alan grouped up with other attackers. This was his first time working with others to do something good—at least it looks like it from the outside. Other than his first mission, Alan did not engage in any peaceful talk with others at all.
The plan is simple, as Laxia said. After everything had been set up, Alan looks at Germas and smiles inside.
"I will wait and find a way to kill you."
As Alan thought, the Three-Headed Zombie King starts to move towards them, signaling that the real battle has started.
