Chapter 28: Homebound

We gathered our belongings the next morning and began our journey home. The fairy had forced me to give her my number so she could keep tabs on me. I obliged just so she could get in touch with me. I had gotten past the whole puppet pawn thing and decided better than my friend than my enemy. Eve had gathered all her stuff and had met back up with us. Heng had gotten our private car on the train and a private dining car was added as well. I had been given countless prizes for winning the competition, one such prize was a hundred pounds of herbs for pill refining, A solid gold sword, and a silk robe. Heng beamed proudly as the other branch families murmured and gossiped about us. A large youth stepped between Eve and boarding the train. He glared at her with his hands on his hips.

"Your master kidnapped and killed a few of my sect brothers, how will you compensate us for that?" He asked angrily.
