Chapter 13: 13. Hunt
"I'd like to keep my identity hidden but I know you very well.. I have so much info on you like your most recent hit. A Freddy's location that was closed for investigation. Polic-" The caller said before I interrupted him.
"Blackmailing me huh?" I asked before sighing in annoyance. "I'm not stupid pal. You want something from me so spill."
The caller laughed a bit before speaking, "We have a common enemy who has hurt both our families and ourselves in many ways, my friend."
"Sorry but there's a damn list is way to long for your little riddles so who's this enemy." I said in an annoyed tone as I wanted to get rid of this man on the phone fast.
Banging on a wooden door came from the other side of the phone like someone was trying to break into the caller's room, "Fuck" the caller mumbled before I heard papers being moved and paper ripping then he spoke once again. "Seems we don't have enough time to speak. Find the first bear's diner. Goodbye for now." He hung up.
I put the phone down before sighing. 'Great.. So I either go on this goose chase or get arrested for all those charges of the shit I did..'
I knew what he meant since the answer was in the name "Bear's diner". What the caller meant was Fredbear's Diner since it was the start of Freddy Fazbear making it the first. With the answer known I just had to decide if I would listen to the man or not as it sounded like he was being hunted.
'Well I guess I can go check out that hellhole again since the only dangerous things there are gone.' I got up before grabbing my stuff and a wrench as a weapon since I had no gun or knife.
-3 PM-
I walked through the trees following the overgrown path to find Fredbear's Diner in the middle of the woods. The place was completely different as many years passed so nature grew over it covering the building with moss and trees covering it making it hard to get to. The Windows were broken with some boarded up but the entrance was wide open with a paper by it.
I walked over to the entrance and grabbed the paper which read [So you found this place. Glad you remember the first incident this company had. Now walk inside and find the plush unlike the rest. Trust me when I sa-] the rest of the paper was tore so I couldn't know what he wanted to tell me.
"Find the plushie." I mumbled before walking into the Diner seeing the mess from inside. The tiles on the floor were cracked and missing while weeds and plants grew through the openings while the tables were tossed all over the place broken with plates laying everywhere.
I ignored the mess and went to the first place I thought of which was the "Prize Corner" since it had the plushies. Once I got there I found multiple destroyed fredbear plushies on the ground with a blood trail by it.
'What the fuck..?' I stared at the blood for a few minutes of pure shock since it was fresh since the metallic smell was still strong so I grabbed my wrench from my side and slowly followed the trail.
The trail of blood slowly began to go from just blood to bits of gray fur with the blood which calmed me a bit to know it came from an animal but i didn't let my guard down as I slowly pushed the door to the storage room open and peeked inside.
The light for the room flickered as I looked inside seeing the corpse of a raccoon with rips in its flesh with wounds that looked like teeth along the back while it's limbs were mangled. 'Whatever dragged it in here isn't normal and knew to break its limbs so it couldn't run..'
I knew whatever was in this room had to still be inside so I grabbed a broken tile from the floor before throwing it in the room at the corpse to startle what was inside but no sounds except the splat from the tile hitting the corpse.
'Damn that's not what I was hoping for.. It's either hidden or behind me.. Fuck it.' I slowly enter the room before quickly looking around the room only finding a note and a bloody plushtrap with fur in its mouth.
"Found the odd one out I guess.." I said before walking towards the plushie holding the wrench in my hand to attack then I see that the plush had its arms and neck tied to a pole behind it so I quickly grab the note by it before reading the note while keeping an eye on the plush as i didn't trust it.
[Follow the blood and find the bunny. Now follow the steps again my friend and find the real bunny. Be fast or it will be too late for you to act.. Be careful and safe against the rabbit.]
I quickly ran out of the Diner and through the woods, Knowing exactly who he meant. 'That damn bastard Afton! How did he survive!'
-7 PM-
I pulled up near the location, the place I killed William in which was Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria where he killed the missing kids but I found the building on fire with police and fire fighters trying to put the fire out. Then my phone started ringing so I answered.
"Too late it seems. He found his way out because you took too long friend. For now just return to your life. I will call once again." the caller said but before I could ask my questions, he hung up so I hit the steering wheel in rage before driving home.
