Chapter 11: Document Eleven: The Birth Of A New Form

"Alright, I'm almost there. Make sure that this room has some cryogenesis pods in case his body continues to decay." Sunbreaker said to someone on the phone. The person on the other end gave a somewhat muffled response and ended the call as Sunbreaker walked through the TCF hallways, carrying Incident Seven over his shoulder. The body was unmoving as the smell of rotting flesh spread through the halls, penetrating the nose of anyone unfortunate enough to smell it. If he passed by a researcher, who he would occassionally pass as they strode the hallways, they would pinch their nose with their hands. Sunbreaker didn't have any need for a nose, so he never bothered to form one.

As he walked, Incident Seven's arm fell off and landed on the floor, making a surprisingly wet noise as it dropped onto the linoleum floors. Sunbreaker picked it up, sighing as he walked. "I don't get paid enough for this..." He muttered under his breath, before realising what he said was untrue. "Nevermind, I don't get paid at all." Sunbreaker corrected himself as he continued walking, heading towards a new containment chamber that had been, or was being, built for specifically this Incident. Each of them have their own rooms, not for comfort, but to make sure that they don't try to escape or do anything stupid like blow up the Trollge Containment Foundation or kill their fellow Incidents. It's why Incident Four, otherwise known as Revenge, had to be kept separate to anything else.

'The thought of encountering that entity scares me.' Sunbreaker thought to himself, pretending to shiver his body at the thought of encountering them. He had heard stories from people like Heisean Feldman. She had the power to manipulate metals, also known as ferrokinesis. The fact that she was able to kill so many TCF soldiers with barely any practice just goes to show how powerful some of these creatures are compared to regular humans. 'Even Incidents Two-One and Two-Two. They have unlimited stamina, so no matter what you do, they will chase you down. They are the peak of humanity in terms of sheer perseverance.' Sunbreaker recollected, remembering his tests with the pair. During their brief interactions, the pair had been moving around constantly with no signs of fatigue. It was scary, considering the fact that even he had his limits.

Sunbreaker continued walking until he reached a door with a metal plate that read "Incident 7". He reached out and grabbed the handle, opening to door to a reasonably cold room, a cryogenesis pod hiding in the corner as people worked on installing it. "Thanks for listening to my request so quickly. We need to make sure that their body doesn't crumble to dust while they walk, so this will make sure that they're never too far gone." Sunbreaker thanked the people who were working on installing the pod. They gave a silent nod as they continued working, making sure that they didn't mess up. This pod would come out of their salary if they broke it, and they didn't feel like losing a good few thousands of euros. Sunbreaker left Omniscient near them so that he could look around.

Sunbreaker looked towards the centre of the room, noticing a large table with a considerable amount of paper, pens, pencils, pretty much any drawing utensil that you'd ever need. "Does this revolve around Incident 7's abilities? If so, I'm not going to ask why, or how the Foundation even knows yet. I literally just brought him in today." Sunbreaker said to himself, walking around it. "Well, I've done everything that I've needed to do. Might as well head back to my room and play some games." Sunbreaker spoke aloud before walking out the door, leaving the body of Omniscient with the people installing the cryogenesis pod.

Sunbreaker closed the door behind him, letting out an audible sigh. "There's been so many of us in a relatively short time. Was I the first one to exist or the first one to be captured?" Sunbreaker muttered to himself, beginning the walk to his room. The TCF hallways were unusually quiet for some reason. Sunbreaker would usually encounter at least three scientists or researchers on his walk there. However, this time he met nobody. It was almost like the Trollge Containment Foundation had been deserted, abandoned to time itself.

He entered the password to his room on a numerical lock beside his door. It slid open, almost silently, allowing him to walk in. A researcher with no name tag was sitting on his bed, a syringe filled with black liquid in his right hand and a notebook in his left, a ballpoint pen on the duvet cover. "Hello there, Incident 1. I've been instructed by the TCF to give you this syringe. What you do with it is up to you, apparently. I have been also told to hand you this notebook so that you can read the recommended path you take." The researcher told him, handing both items to Sunbreaker, placing them in his hands.

Sunbreaker opened the notebook, and began reading it's contents aloud. "Hello, Sunbreaker. The syringe that you have been given contains a potent drug known only as MX-173. We created it in hopes of boosting your fighting potential for future incidents, as we believe they will only get stronger from here on out. If you inject that into your body, we believe that your cells will combine with the power-increasing properties of the drug, allowing you to get stronger. Do not ask what we had to do to make it or test it, as that's classified information only the highest ranking officials know. You decide whether or not you want to take the risk." Sunbreaker read, stopping at no point to take a breath, as it didn't look like he needed to.

Sunbreaker looked at the dark liquid-filled syringe, and with a sigh, aimed it towards his chest. "Fuck it, might as well see what these guys have in store for me." Sunbreaker told the researcher while staring him in the eyes, creating multiple on the top half of his face, a large mouth in the shake of a smile taking up the lower part. Sunbreaker then stabbed that syringe into his chest, injecting himself with the MX-173 drug. The black liquid shot through his body as he used the syringe to push it into himself. Sunbreaker's body creaked as the sound of bones snapping ensued, dark liquid oozing from Sunbreaker's body. An ear-destroying screech of pain erupted from Sunbreaker's mouth as his body shattered and rebuilt itself, his body creating more of itself.

A new monster had been born that day.
