Chapter 39: 39. NOBODY IN INTER-SCHOOL TOURNAMENT (2)
There were many peoples from all over the world that were gathered in stadium. Many different peoples from different countries and races. There were also the guards that came with the representatives of different countries.
So between all these big shots many those who specialise in magic were sensitive to aura and pressure of mana. So naturally watching Klaus smoothly defect aura and mixing aura with another person on top of that with a person of different race was an eye opener for them.
This stunt can be done only some peoples of tier 9 on top of that they have to specialize in magic and mana. So it was natural reaction as klaus was just tier 2 person and newbie in magic.

His voice wasn't too loud nor low but was heard by all 10000 peoples of stadium and then Emperor along with Empress sat on their throne, followed by the representatives and audience.
"Now that all peoples have arrived, the tournament matches are like this, the duels will be taken place in teams and defeat will be declared either when whole team is surrenders, gets out of duel platform or faints"

Hearing these words whole crowd was in uproar because all matches were very interesting match ups. And specially the duels of Genesis and Asmodeus academy.
The Immortal sect was strong in such duels because they taught students of all classes swordsmanship, basic magic and medical alchemy and that makes even the healers as strong as normal students in competition.
And the Asmodeus Academy had duel with Ixtal academy, the demons vs Dwarves, both races used fire magic but demons had more advantage because of strong bodies and dark magic was more stronger than earth magic.
"Now then towards the first match of first round! Oomaza Academy vs Academy of spirits"
As it was announced the students of both academy entered the stage on left side in green dress were elves who specialise in magic and archery and on right side were students in sky blue uniform with sword, spears, magic and healers.
"Now get ready! "
As referees announced both side got ready and got in combat position taking their own places.
"Begin!!!"
As it was announced one male and one female elf swordsman and two swordsman and one spearman along with two assassins rushed towards each other. And healer was buffing them although buff of beginner healer wasn't much and incomparable to the spirit's buff it was still strong.
There were 2 close combat students in elf's side but 5 close combat students in human side. Humans thought of using this as strategy and used swordsman and spearman to hold back swordsman and let assassins who specialise in agility deal with mages and archers.
It was perfect plan but there was a flaw, unlike humans elf don't have problem in shooting targets with bow and elf can use spirit for buffs
Just as assassins launched towards the mages the archers launched their arrows and the arrows were quite accurate but the assassins who can take part in such competition weren't ordinary, they were best of first years of the country so assassins easily deflected arrows with daggers.
And again rushed towards the mages and just as they came near them and got them in immobilising position to eliminate them both of mage turned into a leaves and both of assassins were shocked beyond belief and thought
'arrow wasn't to hurt us but to distract us from target'

Suddenly they got attacked by the plants that grew out of ground and arrows launched by archers.
"ICE SHIELD"
Fortunately the mage from humans side were quick and defected the arrows and plants, but assassins still got some damage because some plants got through defense.
Assassins were thrown away because of shock but quickly calmed and moved in zig zag position toward the archers. Healer healed them and gave extra agility buff
On other hand the mages were fighting with mage that was getting buff from healer almost evenly but mana of elf is still larger than human so it was only matter of time.
And on the other side the elves who were fighting with humans were losing because of spearman and humans being better at close combat techniques. Elves were fighting 3 vs 3 but barely making the end with help of a mage and spirit fighting with the spearman.
A mage and spirits were fighting the spearman with the help of plants and earth magic. And just as everyone thought that they were evenly matched suddenly the leader of elf who was swordsman fighting with humans shouted
"Sylve Bufff!"
And all spirits glowed brightly and then all mages offensive damage got stronger along with others and the battle between mages ended with with elves winning overwhelmingly and human mage and healer got thrown out of platform, and sudden increase on speed and strength of elves surprised the swordsmans and their swords broke along with elves but the humans were already out of platform.
"Tempest arrow"
Archers of elves launched the arrow that was followed by an small storm which made assassins suddenly slow, they defended against arrow but the the small storm made them loose focus and they covered their eyes.
Making use of the situation mages launched their attack
"EARTH'S HAND"
And assassins were thrown out of platform with a hand made of earth and with that only spearman was left on humans side.He was the leader of humans and he said
"If this is end let's end it with pride!"
"FLAME LORD SPEARMANSHIP TECHNIQUE___LAST MOVE ANNIHILATE"
This technique was peak tier 6 technique and move he used had large area of effect as he used his technique he pierced towards the spirits near him and the whole left side was covered with flames.
After strike ended all mages and archers with low defense fainted but swordsmans were still standing. The spearman seeing this lost consciousness because he has depleted all his mana and lost stamina.
Seeing such seen the whole audience shouted with excitement
"WOOOOAOAAAHHHHH"
And referee launched the results...
"And the winner is Academy of Spirits!!!"
Although Elves have won the match but the heart of audience was won by the spearman, even many elves praised the swordsman because of his bravery and resolve. Seeing this representative of Aammar felt proud even after losing.
This was also seen by klaus 'So that guy was one who helped in defeating the devil, quite good if I say so! After cultist used that artifact to immobilise all peoples above tier 2 he certainly is one of best candidates to take in team, but damn those bitches they competely over shadowed him with protagonist! He looks more like protagonist than Reus who only believes in himself and got into depression just because he lost for first time'
