Eve POV
Next Day
I changed when The Circle came for Jocelyn and The Mortal Cup as mom received a call from Jocelyn about them being found.
"Eve, I need you to head over there to see what's going on, I need to report to The Clave" (Mom)
"Mom, why do you have so much faith in the Clave, look what happened years ago during the uprising with Valentine" (Eve)
"Look I know the uprising could have been avoided if the Clave looked into Valentine more but there our leaders" (Mom)
"No! the angels are my leaders, Dad is my leader, I listen to the angels, not some control freaks who can't afford to look weak!"
(Eve)
There was a silence as in my outburst my eyes glowed gold at my anger.
"I know, the angels are our guides but there not in the Shadow World so it's up to us, I know you hate how Shadowhunters treat the downworlders through prejudice and racism but we have to do this for now" (Mom)
I look at her to nod my head as I went to grab my daggers and Seraph blades.
"Bring them to the Institute" (Mom)
I nodded to walk out the door to teleport to the loft but I saw it was empty til I felt someone behind me as I took my sword to swing around to stop at Lucian neck.
"Lucian?" (Eve)
"Hey kid" (Lucian)
"What happened?" (Eve)
"Honestly I don't have a clue, when I got here the place was trashed, no Jocelyn, no Clary but Dot went looking for them" (Lucian)
"Alright but it was Circle members?" (Eve)
"Had to be" (Lucian)
"Alright, I'll head to the institute to see if they know anything" (Eve)
"Alright but keep me posted" (Lucian)
"No problem" (Eve)
I walked out of the loft to teleport to the institute as I walk in.
