Chapter 3: Disappointed
When one say they're not together, it's means they're not together"a cold voice was heard from the entrance of the spa making all heads turn.
The person was none other than Fu Yohan,he was dressed in a black tailored suit,it looks like he was coming from the office,his eyes swept pass everyone but his gaze lingered upon Li Xie face then he looked at Wen xuminin and his eyes flashed something unfathomable before it disappeared like it wasn't there.
He walked towards Li Xie direction and when it felt like he was going to stop at her front, he stayed by the side of Wen xuminin holding her palm.
Li Xie pressed her lips into a thin line as she looked at Wen xuminin and Fu Yohan interwined hands.
"Sir,i knew you can't leave your wife to come all by herself but she was denying you and i guess she was shy"the attendant quickly said as she saw the situation between the three.
"I would never let my wife come here by herself"he immediately kissed Wen xuminin forehead as she blushed and looked at Li Xie who was chewing her lips in anger and nervousness.
The attendant was confused"i thought that this young lady here was your wife?"she pointed at Li Xie who became the center of attention.
"How can she be my wife?, she clearly said we're not together and have you heard of any engagement between me and her. If you don't want to get fired,get to what they're paying you for"the lady bowed, she didn't think that the conversation will expand to the extent she might lose her job.
"Am so sorry Mr Fu and Mrs Fu"she didn't face Li Xie again and focused on Wen xuminin and Fu Yohan, she was leading them to a room where they can have their massage while Li Xie was still in daze by what happened.
"Sister, aren't you coming?. Brother Yohan said he can't wait anymore"she said proudly with a provoking smile making Li Xie to clench her fists, she breath in and smiled.
"Sorry for keeping you waiting, shall we?"they both didn't respond and started walking abreast each other as Fu Yohan strokes Wen xuminin hair.
'we're no longer together so why should i be jealous?. We're over'Li Xie kept on encouraging herself and reminding herself that they are no longer together till they reached a room.
"Here we are, you have your personal masseuse and manicurist. If you need anything, please don't hesitate to contact me"the attendant said politely, she didn't want to offend them again since she had already offended his fiancee.
They entered inside and saw three women inside, all of them smiling at them.
"I need a massage" Wen xuminin said and a cute petite girl came forward.
"I'll be your masseuse for the day".
"Ok, when can we get started?".
"Right now but my workplace is in the inner room so your husband and sister can wait here until we're done"the girl said, Wen xuminin didn't want to leave Li Xie and Fu Yohan in the same room, after all, they've both shared a love story together.
She felt insecure and reluctant to leave when a warm hand held her shoulder.
"Don't get too nervous,go on"he said with a small smile, Wen xuminin felt she was floating in love,this was hers to begin with but Li Xie took it and now he's in her hands not Li Xie again.
She smiled and followed the masseuse, she had nothing to worry about since they are also two other women in there, she entered the inner room .
"Miss, please take off your clothes"she handed Wen xuminin a towel as she removed her clothes and lied on the bed on her stomach as the woman began.
She used her fingers to knead her back slowly,then she applied a lotion and continued to knead her back then up to her shoulder.
"Apply a little more pressure on that place". The lady touched her nape and asked"here".
"Hmmm"she used her fingers to knead and when she was sure she had enough she went to her back and used her elbows to knead applying more pressure.
Meanwhile, between Li Xie and Fu Yohan was in akward silence which none of them were willing to break when Li Xie had enough.
"Why did you call off our wedding?,did the love we shared for the past five years forgotten"she said with tears in her eyes, she was grateful the two ladies used an excuse and left.
Fu Yohan was less bothered.
"I called it off because i don't love you if that's what you want to hear"he answered both questions, he never liked her, the five years of courting was nothing to him but she won't give up.
"If you didn't love me,then why did you give me false hope,you announced our courting and didn't keep it a secret. Why?"she wanted to hear his answer so bad, she wanted to crawl into his head and know what he was thinking.
"That was time of ignorance, we're both matured and know what we want and one thing i don't want is you,us. You are just an illegitimate daughter of the Wen's"his words entered the softest part of her heart piercing it deep.
So in his eyes she was just a illegitimate daughter of the Wen's.
"Just answer me this last question and I'll leave you alone and you can marry anybody you wish but answer me truthfully.... Do you love me all those years ago or were you just toying with my feelings?".
"I never loved you and will never, Wen xuminin is my other half"Li Xie looked at his face trying to see any emotion but it didn't show and she felt like her heart has been pierced by a thousands of needles.
"That's what I needed to hear,i will never disturb you again,have a happy married life with Wen xuminin. I release you"she looked away missing the sadness that passed his eyes before it disappeared and that's when the inner door opened and at the same time, the two ladies that went out came inside.
Wen xuminin went towards Fu Yohan and sat down snuggling closer to him as the three ladies blushed at their close interaction.
When Li Xie saw them, she didn't feel pain or hatred but only disappointment,that, she expected from Wen xuminin but not Fu Yohan but it has come to her realization that he was toying with her heart, her feelings and mind.
