~Maria POV~
Walking down the tracks towards Forever Falls I walked with the new kids Ruby, Yang, and Blake down the path following where Albus was at.
Well to be specific following the cat Faunus as she remembers this better than most from her own dimension or Remnant as I walked down the path.
Oh, boy Maria what the hell did I just get myself into now.
Ever since I waited for the girls to finish their very grateful reunion and meeting with Ozpin or I guess Ozma with Ruby informing me in the same boat I merely requested some help searching for Albus Burn.
Explaining to him our encounter and past interactions as well as some actions of figuring out the actions he took I was more or less convinced he had magic thanks to Ozpin confessing it outright.
What he didn't know was how there another magic user was alive in this Remnant which surprised him.
He wouldn't be if it was a girl but if it was a guy that changes everything.
Because only Maidens are the only ones to obtain magic and learning from Ruby that the first generation of humanity died with their gift of magic isn't possible unless they are Ozma, Salem, or the Maiden powers.
Which left all of us in the room at the time to wonder…
Who is exactly Albus Burn?
And why is he the only boy in Remnant to learn magic?
Everyone thought the same idea as the original team RWBY thought the same idea of where this guy appeared in their own Remnant as someone like him would've been extremely helpful if he appeared or even was another Reincarnation of Ozma.
But sadly that was quickly disproven by the reincarnator himself of the facts.
And adding my own theory that Salem must have already taken him first before they ever met was also plausible to have happened.
I mean according to Ozma he did say that Salem was after Silver Eyed Warriors to be killed off by her minions as I was a direct example of one and if she felt magic coming from somewhere like with how the Fall Maiden and Ozma sensed them…
It was likely a safe bet that the Salem got to him from their Remnant before he became a big obstacle.
Although the three girls are surprised to hear another guy like them and frown.
I mean if they had Albus in their world that managed to heal me from a very old age through a mysterious means they ponder how things would've been if he had been there with them or how they would react.
Well…
That's only what if's honestly so there were no worries.
And like that, I was recruited into their inner circle and my being placed into a position as a combat instructor in Beacon Academy was certainly good enough as long as the deal remains that the kid is protected.
Learning from the old coot Ozpin about the dangers of Salem as well as her cohorts with Ruby made me feel a bit…

Ah right.
Disappointed.
Now that I got a broader idea of how Salem, at least through what could be considered the oldest ally humanity has about Salem, makes me regret my actions using the modern punishment of capturing him then and there.
He clearly figured out what it meant once I said my answer.
The only logical choice at the time for him would be to flee.
Sigh…
And going back on the deal with him that I thought I was helping the kid only in the end sour our student and teacher relationship status.
I swear that kid is like a literal trouble magnet at times and I mean seriously how does a teenager get the attention to the most shadow people in the world their eyes on him as they would try to capture or kill him.
You would think someone from the Salem group would try something to get the kid but strangely enough, he seems fine on his own or has dumb luck.
Hell, I would start to think he has some guardian angels backing him up being this weak but he can be crafty you have to give that much.
When we arrived at the site there were two people waiting for us as I managed to describe them from what they wore.
One has a light brown complexion, with shoulder-length, straight brown hair. She had a beauty mark below her left eye. She used to wear a long, green hooded cloak on top of an off-white blouse with frill detailing on the shoulders, pleated lower half with a central split, alongside a brown vest that had three straps and golden lining around the collar. She has a dark brown corset with matching pants, as well as a pair of brown thigh-high boots with large cuffs and golden armor plating covering the boots up to her knees.
She also has an amber pendant on her vest, a gold bracer on her left arm, and two gold bracelets on her right wrist. Finally, she had a golden spaulder on her right shoulder as well as a brown shoulder strap with some pouches slung diagonally across her body.
That must be the Fall Maiden Amber and the other one…
He just seems to be very excited.
Giddy even.
He has graying black, spiky hair, faded red eyes, and slight stubble along his jawline. Along with a red, tattered cloak, he wears a gray dress shirt with a long tail, black dress pants, and black dress shoes.
He also wears a ring on his right index finger, two other rings on his right ring finger, and a necklace with a crooked cross-shaped pendant and has his bangs down most of the time, but he sometimes pushes his hair back when fighting. In addition, his hair is made to look like it is composed entirely of feathers.
Must be Qrow Branwen or old crow from what Ozpin says.
Guess these are the people that Ozpin wanted to meet up with.
They seem capable as I began to clear my throat out with Ruby as Red Petals, Blake as Black Fang, and Yang as Yellow Dragon to keep their identities along with their head mask while I began talking to them, "So you must be Qrow and Amber right? I'm Maria formally known as the Grimm Reaper so tell me what's the situation like with Albus?"
They both glanced at each other before motioning us to follow along.

"Sigh… so that's where he been huh?"
Looking over the distance using my binoculars I see that the brat was practicing more than ever before with his sword as I couldn't help but be a bit proud of his at least training.
And it seems to me that it's against what I would assume a friend since the way he belittles and lectures him how to properly wield a blade as they go out at times and counter.
But the majority of time he gets his ass whooped by the older man with red hair and Bull horns on him.
However…
Taking a small glance over to the YD and BF I see that their fist is trembling in rage I can clearly see it as they seem to have some beef with the guy –
Oh!
It's that Adam guy that took that girl's arm and stab in the stomach.
At least the future version of them from what I have to go on seems like they simply want to go in to cause a big fuss as I hear YD spoke out with a voice modulator, "Tell me why haven't we just swooped in and save the kid already?"
"Yeah that person with him… his very dangerous…"
At this Qrow remarked at their statements making them silent as he shook his head, "Sigh… sorry Yellow Dragon and Black Fang. After observing them they seem to be allies friends even after our reports. We didn't see a need to rush in to cause some problems."
They seem to not like the answer but before they could react or move anymore I see another member of the White Fang come over a black hair cat Faunus with the ears showing as she talked to the two giving some lunch.
Heh.
This kid already training and getting girls.
But it seems to me he found a group he can trust can't say the same about me in that regard.
Sigh…
Shaking my head and thinking for a bit I decided to voice our next actions carefully for the upcoming trouble with the kid, "Sigh… Ok then. Tomorrow will go in and talk to the White Fang members regarding our friend and ask Albus an offer to join Beacon early. Hopefully he would take it since it would provide him good assurance and place of stay."
"So basically anything so long as Ozpin recruits him."
"Basically yeah."
Yeah Ozpin really wants that kid.
For now though we decided to setup a camp nearby for the night before we go ahead and talk with the members of the White Fang.
Thankfully they are still peaceful so maybe we can get more out of this talk.
Although it would be very awkward later I hope to meet Albus under better circumstances but…
Sigh…
For now, I shook my head for the time being as we began to set up camp.
I would feel better if that Qrow would stop staring at me weridly.
Feels like I gain a stalker or a creeper.
