Chapter 7: The Entrance Exam Part 2
Kali, who was currently using Asui as a stand up hug pillow, wondered why the man on stage had to scream each one of his words instead of just speaking normally. But she did know he had information that she should listen to, so she still listened despite wanting to toss trash boy at him to shut the guy up. The gist of it was that there were a bunch of villains roaming around the replicated city district that was created inside a training hall.
Once the exam started, they would need to beat up the villains to gain points. But Kali figured there was more to it than this. After all, what would be the point of a hero exam if it was just to beat up villains. Of course, she did not say anything out loud. She saw no need to since it was pretty obvious.
"Asui, who is the boy over there who seems like he is trying to become president?" Kali asked as she pointed to the black haired boy with glasses screaming about something with a paper in his hand.
"I am not sure…." Asui answered. She seemed to have already gotten used to Kali hugging her, or she was just not bothered by it.
"Well… I will call him glasses freak since he seems like a freak." Kali decided. She recently found giving out nicknames to be fun.
After the introduction was done, Kali, Asui, Midoriya, and Trash Boy all made their way to the exam testing area. The loud mouthed hero saw everyone standing around and frowned slightly: "What's that matter!? There is no such thing as a countdown in a battle run! Ruun! Ruun! Consider the baton tossed!"
With that, everyone began running forward except two people. One was Midoriya, who seemed confused as to what was going on. The other was Kali, who had her hands in her pockets and began walking forward slowly. She looked at the Tuna next to her, who was still in a daze, and shook her head. "Tuna, get your ass in gear, or I will shove your foot up it. You better not disgrace the power the shitty old man bestowed upon you."
A shiver ran down Midoriya's spine, hearing Kali's voice and, without hesitation, charged forward. Kali clicked her tongue as she watched the tuna run away. She could only sigh and wonder why the shitty old man picked this idiot. The kid did not seem to have any backbone whatsoever.
She continued walking forward. She would pause to save a person here and there and sometimes destroy a robot villain thing. But to her, this was all just…. Boring…. She continued doing her thing until a loud explosion sound was heard, and a bunch of the buildings came crashing down.
Kali looked up as a shadow fell over her and saw a large robot much bigger than the others hovering over her. She looked down to see tuna about to use his quirk and decided to watch for the time being. But when she saw how his body was about to burst out of its seams just from activating his power, she couldn't help but frown. "That shitty old man…."
With another sigh, Kali walked forward and waited to catch the idiot. She hoped that this would be a lesson for him and that he would need to learn to control his power better. As she walked over, she saw another familiar face laying on some rubble. "Oh? Is he trying to play the hero who saves the Floaty Girl?"
A sly smile formed on Kali's face as she disappeared from where she stood and appeared next to the floaty girl. "Fine day we are having."
"Huh?" The Floaty Girl looked up at Kali feeling confused. She remembered this girl to be the one who was at the front gates not too long ago. But her choice of words just now seemed off.
"I said it's a fine day for a Tuna to save the Floaty Girl." kali pointed at The Tuna jumping towards the large robot: "Look. He is about to smash the robot just for you. And in return…." Kali leaned over and whispered into Floaty Girl's ear, causing her to blush and then glare at the young boy flying through the air.
Midoriya, who was about to hit the large robot, felt as if his body was about to break. His fist landed on the robot, causing pain to shoot through his body. Even though he smashed the huge robot to bits, he could feel his leg and arm were now wrecked. But what made him feel fear was he heard another explosion sound. He turned his head to see another huge robot standing there with its weapons aimed right at him. Fear filled his eyes as he closed them and waited for the inevitable, but before he knew what was going on, he felt something grab his ankle and another loud explosion.

Seconds earlier. After making the Floaty Girl give the Tuna a dirty look, Kali turned to see that the tuna was actually in trouble and sighed once more. She kicked her foot off the ground and flew up into the air. She grabbed the Tuna by the leg before sweeping her foot at the second robot at an angle, sending it high into the fake sky and through the ceiling right into the real sky. Kali couldn't help but frown when she saw how a simple kick sent the thing flying. "So weak?"
Feeling the boredom filling her up again, Kali let go of the Tuna in her hand as she landed on the ground, causing him to fall face first onto the cement. "Tuna, you better hope you didn't fail or else."
Midoriya, who was about to faint from pain, couldn't help but shiver in fear at Kali's warning. He had no time to even think about the fact that he did not destroy a single enemy that was worth points. Floaty Girl ignored the lump of flesh on the ground and walked away, not caring about him. The words Kali whispered to her were still fresh in her mind. She wondered if all boys were like this.
As for Kali, she had her hands in her pockets once more while walking towards the entrance of the hall, singing another strange song: "Squishy~ Squishy~ Where did you go~."
