Angel's POV
The more I stared, the more I could see the differences, she had grey eyes, and dark blonde hair, she was curvier and a little taller I think, whereas my mom had blue eyes like mine, other than that she looked just like my mom. As soon she saw me, Erina engulfed me in a hug and sobbed. When she pulled back that's when I noticed all the features and I was beyond confused. There stood someone just like my mom, when she told me she was my mom's long-lost sister I couldn't believe it. I was disappointed in my parents they had so many secrets, and they kept a lot of things from me.
" oh dear, I'm so sorry for what happened to your pack, my son briefed me," Erina said.
"Mm..amm.. sure... it's ok" it was so awkward, I didn't know what to tell her.
When I peeked at her she was watching me and tilted her head to the side slightly "you don't remember me and she didn't tell you about me, I guess"
" well, I have to go check on Della.. you both carry on" With that said sam left.
Now I gave her my full attention " no, she didn't. They didn't tell me a lot of things"
" I can't say I'm not disappointed with her.. because I am. But she had her reasons, don't blame her angel"
My eyes widened slightly " you know my name?" I chuckled nervously " I bet your son might have told you"
She shook her head sadly " unfortunately he didn't have to say, I knew you... we all know you from before" I looked at her confused. She mumbled something about just forgetting us under her breath. That's when I thought she did say I don't remember her? I don't remember a lot of my childhood. Is there more to it...
" knew me before... what do you mean," I asked hoping she could help me somehow.
"Mother... I see you met her. Can I talk to angel privately" before she could continue further there came that smooth husky voice which was the very cause for my insanity recently? Mother? I turned around to look directly into the grey orbs which I have started to fantasise about now. How long was he standing here? He's her son? Ohh... Same eyes...Does that mean he knew me before? but how. I don't understand.
" ahh... Adonis. We were just catching up" Erina laughed nervously as if she gave away something so important. " anyway I'm leaving, you two have something to talk right. See you around angel... I'm so happy to see you again"
"Mom.." Adonis groaned rubbing his forehead. Mumbled something along exactly why dad kept this from you...
Erina left saying a soft sorry to Adonis leaving us all alone in the same room.
Jitteriness... That was my feeling right now, so nervous that I couldn't look at him as I sat opposite him on my bed where he sat on my chair. After Erina left Adonis asked me to sit as he had to tell me something important. Ever since we settled down he kept looking at me. But I couldn't keep eye contact all I see when I looked at that grey gems are my dreams...I bit my lips out of habit if only he knew... I shot my eyes at him when he growled lowly...
" don't do that" his voice was strained while he stared at my lips. I was anxious and thrilled at the same time when he gulped. All my rational thoughts left my body and I dreamt about how I wanted to run my tongue on his Adam's apple. God!! I squeezed my legs to shut my arousal which only earned a growl again from him. His eyes were now grey against pitch black and he forcefully looked away. He shook his head to gain his control back.
"Angel.." he breathed. God... what is this man doing to me... just him saying my name made my toes curl...if I was in my right sense I would have asked myself what's wrong with me... but all I could think was the hot streaming kisses-
"Pack your bags we are leaving..." wait what...
"Ahh...sorry what.." I asked
He chuckled darkly " I see... your mind was wandering..."
my mind.. no even my eyes were... I so wanted to tell him. " I said pack your bags-"
" I heard exactly what you said... but why, to where" I composed myself rather quickly I didn't want him to see how much I'm lusting over him.
His smirk only grew wider as he knew exactly where he had me... "sure...to somewhere, where we can find the truth"
"The truth? What truth" I asked him
" The truth about you... look Angel we need to know what exactly are we dealing with to be prepared. To protect you I need to know everything" he explained
I slowly let his words sink in to protect me " ok, so where do we find this truth?"
He groaned looking irritated " do you have to question everything?"
"I just want to know... it's about me. isn't it?"
"Be ready at 5, we are leaving at dawn" with that said he left my room.
That arrogant jerk!!... Did he just ignore what I said, wow!! "The truth" what will it be.. the weight of the reality set in me, my pack was attacked, many people lost their loved ones, their children were separated from them, and many are missing all for what? Some truth? Is it worth it? whereabouts of my parents, most of the time my mind was occupied by them what happened to them, what are they doing right now, are they back, are they looking for me.
I don't how long was I staring into the roof and thinking while lying on my bed. I need to complete my maths assignment. Laziness and tiredness were holding me back still I need to get this done fast so that I can catch a good sleep before we leave. Oh, I almost forgot to ask Alpha when will We be back, will I be attending the class?
With that thought, I got up from my bed and walked out of my room. Where will he be right now? it's already late, so maybe at his office as there's still light on. When I reached in front of the oak doors, I could hear some noises, so I knocked twice and waited, but no response. He might be busy, but I don't have time to waste. I'll just ask and go. I slowly opened the door and entered inside.
" Alpha... Ado—" I stood there shocked at what I saw.
