Chapter 7: Corellia/Honoghr

Darth Vader and his two twin apprentices marched side by side toward the Corellian capital as their army of hundreds of stormtroopers followed behind them. Seeing the sheer strength in numbers and knowing the reputation of Darth Vader, none attempted to cross them as the black armor cladding Sith continued deeper through the city.

Corelia was an industrial planet, home to many shipyards and the training grounds for some of the best ace pilots in the galaxy, including Han Solo. The Empire decided that this planet would be the perfect place for them to use for Imperial factories for creating TIE fighters, Star Destroyers, and parts for Darth Vader's planet-sized weapon of destruction that he had been planning for over a decade.

Not only did they want the planet for its industrial value, but they also wanted to take their well-trained pilots and have them join the Empire and strengthen the Empire's Army Air Corps.

Knowing that the Corellian people would likely not resist, Lord Vader saw it as the perfect candidate to teach his apprentices how to claim a planet for themselves without direct violence. On the way to the planet, he gave them specific instructions on what to say and how to act, informing them that he will give them the floor and allow them to do most of the talking while he watches from the side and chime in if needed.

Darth Vader's apprentices were a well-kept secret, finally being unveiled in full as they marched with their father through Corelia. Rumors amongst the Corellian people began to spread like wildfire as the three of them walked past the vast industrial skyscrapers and workers. The people of Corellia theorized whether or not these apprentices were his offspring or perhaps clones of the Sith Lord, due to how similar their armor was to his.

After walking past the many Cyberpunk-styled buildings, they eventually found themselves in the capital of the planet, Coronet City, and in front of the capitol building, a square building with a dome on top of it.

A few droid guards, armed with blasters, drew their weapons at the Sith Lords, however, the two twin apprentices swiped them away with ease and crushed the droids like paper, clearing the way for their father.

Within minutes, the three Siths had forced their way into the building and were outside of the office of the Corellian leader, Fliry Vorru's, leaving a trail of destroyed droids behind them. Lord Vader, using the force, gently pried the locked office door open before slowly entering with his two apprentices.

Immediately, Vorru's human guards drew their weapons at the Sith Lord, though their weapons were immediately reduced to dust as the twins crushed them with ease.

Fliry Vorru, the grey-haired and wrinkled-skinned planetary governor, turned around his chair to look at the three entering his office. Whilst sitting at his desk between his two guards, the man spoke with malice and false confidence as he glared hatefully at the Sith Lord in front of him."Why are you here!?"

"I would like nothing more than to speak of business matters, Governor Varru. Allow my two apprentices, my son and daughter, to introduce themselves." Vader spoke politely and with confidence to the planetary governor as he took a step back, allowing his offspring to take the floor. Vader was acting slightly out of character since the purpose of bringing the twins was so that way they could handle it. If he were doing the negotiating himself, this would have ended in seconds.

Both twins stepped forward, hiding their young faces beneath their masks before announcing their new names to the governor and his guards.

"My name is Darth Filius, son of Lord Vader." Luke spoke plainly, yet nobly upon revealing his new name.

"And I am Darth Filia, daughter of Lord Vader." Leia proclaimed regally, her new name making her feel as if she had grown more powerful simply by announcing it.

Disregarding the children speaking to him, Governor Varru looked to Vader and spoke with malice once more. "I don't have time for children's babble. You still haven't answered my question. Why have you forced your way onto my planet!?"

Filia, not taking being ignored lightly, lifted a single finger to lightly force choke the man as she spoke in an ice-cold voice. "I said my name is Darth Filia. You shall address me as such respectfully, as will you address my brother, Darth Filius. And watch your tone when you speak to Lord Vader. Do you understand? Now speak again, with respect." Filia released the man, allowing him to breathe once more.

This pleased Vader, his daughter had that same fire within her as he, showing him that she would make a great leader if she were to be the one to replace him when he steps down from being the leader of the Empire.

After catching his breath, the man looked toward Darth Filia and addressed her formally. "It is my pleasure to make your acquaintance, Lord Filia." Grabbing his neck, he looked over toward her brother, acknowledging him as well. "And Lord Filius, I am honored to meet you both. Please, what is it that brings you here?"

Liking the attitude change, Filius spoke nobly with his arms behind his back as he attempted to bargain with the old man, lacking his sister's fiery voice. "We are here to offer you protection and economic assistance in exchange for-"

"I don't need protection, nor do I need assistance from you." Varru interrupted. Mistakenly, he mistook Filius as the pushover of the group, little did he know, the young boy would be quick to end his life, even quicker than the other two if provoked.

Now with a toneless voice, Darth Filius spoke to the man once more. "We aren't necessarily asking, Governor Varru. We're more so offering you this before..."

*SHRMM*

Darth Filius ignited his lightsaber, causing the man to flinch as the red glow reflected off of his fearful eyes. "My sister, my father, myself, and our army will take what we want by force."

Hiding the fact that he was nearly shaking in his boots, the man spoke once more. "What is it that you want, exactly?"

Darth Filius placed a single hand on the table before explaining their plans to the governor. "We want you to help the Empire build starships, Star Destroyers, and help my father build his secret weapon."

"What do you mean secret weapon?" The man's eyebrows were furrowed as he spoke and his body language shifted toward being even more defensive than before.

Filius paused briefly before quipping childishly. "Do you- It's a secret. Hence the word secret in 'secret weapon'."

This nonchalant attitude that his son was presenting did not please Vader. His son's biggest issues are that he's impulsive and never takes things seriously. Though he's a fantastic fighter, he lacks his sister's leadership qualities.

"I will not help you make your weapon! Only over my dead body will I allow the people of Corellia to contribute to some weapon capable of who knows what!"

Darth Filius, with his ignited lightsaber in hand, raised an eyebrow under his mask. "Is that so?" Filius stepped forward, raising his lightsaber toward the man's neck. Vader, seeing things getting out of hand, extended his arm forward before speaking to his son. Though Vader does not care who lives or dies, things would be much easier if they went smoothly, especially such an important business matter as this.

"Patience." Vader told his son. He then looked to the governor. "If you choose not to contribute to the Empire, your precious planet will be among the victims of a weapon capable of planetary destruction. Do you understand, Governor? Your life is not what is at stake here, all three billion Corellian people shall perish due to your inaction. I will ask you one last time, will you devote yourself to the Empire, accepting our protection and economic advantage in return for using this planet to help the Empire bring balance to the galaxy."

"Fine. Do whatever you want." The defeated governor muttered, knowing he really had no other choice.

"Splendid. Congratulations, Moff Varru." Vader spoke, promoting the man from lowly governor to Imperial Moff. "Let's go, my apprentices."

All three Sith fluttered their capes as turned around and exited the room in unison. As they began walking out of the building and back toward their starship, Filius spoke to Vader. "Father, what happens now?"

"Our troops will handle the rest. They will build ports, and shipyards and offer the unemployed places of employment. All because they complied." Vader explained, though things were not all that black and white.

Though it was true that he was offering labor work to people and paying them due to the fact that he despises slavery, the Empire ruling over a planet still forces the people to work under the Empire against their will. Those who choose not to comply will die, despite it not being actual slavery. However, the planet will improve economically because of the Empire's ownership of them.

"So, what happens if they don't comply?" Filia asked her father.

"I shall show you. Follow me, we have one last planet to visit."

The three Sith Lords trekked back through the city before boarding their ship and traveling to a new system, landing on the warrior planet known as Honoghr. Upon landing near one of the swampy regions of the planet, once again the three Sith exited their starships and began marching together. However, there were what seemed to be nearly a hundred dead stormtroopers on the ground, not having even made it close to the main city.

"What happened?" Filia questioned as she bent over to inspect one of the stormtrooper's puncture wounds. It wasn't from any sort of laser weapons like a blaster or lightsaber, it was from primal weapons such as spears.

Vader, continuing to walk, answered nobly. "The Noghri people are warriors. I am most impressed, I didn't expect such a display of strength considering their lack of technology"

"It's safe to say these guys aren't the talking type, Father?" Luke added.

"Correct." Vader stopped after noticing his daughter had stopped behind them, before turning around to look at his daughter as she continued to inspect the body. "Lord Filia, leave the corpse."

"Yes, Father."

The three Sith Lords continued walking through the swamp and past the bodies of stormtroopers until they found themselves ambushed by Noghri warriors. The warriors, wearing red robes, shared the facial structure of apes, yet they had the grey skin of reptiles.

As the warriors appeared from beneath the swamp and above the trees with their melee weapons drawn, Vader looked toward his daughter and instructed her to converse with them, knowing she was more than capable due to her endless studying. "You know the language, yes? Go ahead and tell them why we're here."

Filia cleared her throat before placing her arms behind her back and speaking confidently to the Noghri warriors. As she spoke, her Dark Space Creole accent was perfect, showing the products of her research. "Mi nem stan Darth Filia. A empire stan wata fi bargen bisayd u, a fok bilong noghri an aksa dat u join a empire so warriors. Insayd return, mi meni chusa restore u planet. Kha u refuse, mi meni chusa tek a planet way force."

The princess of the Empire offered to reverse the damage done to their planet by the Galatic Republic in exchange for warriors to join the Empire. She also threatened them with death if they did not cooperate.

In response, one of the Noghri warriors, assumed to be the leader of the group, spoke aggressively to the girl. "Mi meni mek nun trust u, empire kung. Live nautaym odda mi meni chusa kill u stan'bifo u stand!"

"What's he saying?" Filius whispered as he leaned over toward his sister.

"Leave now or die, basically." Filia responded plainly.

Filius, his eyes shining brightly under his helmet, grinned with bloodlust having been fully transformed into a Sith and no longer feeling sympathy for life. Talking was not his strength. Fighting, on the other hand, was what he was best at. "Hey, sister, how about we start a new competition between us?"

Filia, also being fueled by bloodlust, picked up on what he was implying. "Say no more, brother, I was thinking the same thing."

Their father said nothing, though he was somewhat curious which child would perform the best against the cannon fodder before them.

*SHRMM*

All three Sith ignited their sabers simultaneously, prepared to fight the horde surrounding them.
