Chapter 156: A glimpse of the real 'her'
"Ah… sorry to hear about that, miss…" Irvyn could recognize this girl, from that day when he dropped Yvette to her classes after he recovered. But no matter how hard he tried, he couldn't recall her name. Even when Yvette just called her right now, he didn't notice as he was busy straightening his position, leaving the hands which were resting on Yvette's cheeks. That's when he realized, he just ended up being really out of the boundary just then. What was this urge to be super affectionate to her, he kept wondering in his mind.
"It's Jasmine, Jasmine Smith." With a polite look on her face, Jasmine responded, reaching out a hand toward him for a handshake. "I share the pleasure of being Yvette's friend."
"Yes, I have heard about you. Couldn't catch your name back then. Thank you for taking care of her, and looking out for her." Irvyn cordially took the hand she had extended, and gave it a shake.
