Chapter 63: Smell Of Blood 2
The splattered blood on Derrick's dagger and face, made him remember the smell of human blood, his memories flashed to his past in a second, he stood there looking at the remaining warriors that were preparing to attack him, his brown eyes looked coldly at them and his twisted smile grew larger.
The slave trader who was already far behind watched this with horror, he couldn't explain what was happening and his mouth was opened agape.
Derrick smile was intimidating but the warriors were not letting up, they all attacked Derrick together in other to immediately kill him.
The scene turned into a bloody mess, blood and limbs were splattered everywhere, Derrick's whole body was covered in blood, the screams echoed through out the vicinity.
Derrick looked like a walking mass of death putting fear into the hearts of those who saw him.
The remaining two warriors that were left standing looked at the fallen warriors, which had either lost their legs or their hands, their screams were still being heard, and one of them has already passed out.
The 3rd stage and 4th stage warriors looked in horror, this made their heart boil, the 4th stage warrior used all his strength with rage in him, threw a thrust with his sword laced with aura in an attempt to kill Derrick.
The force and speed of the thrust was filled with all the warriors rage and strength, Derrick tried blocking it with his dagger but the dagger was broken and Derrick was stabbed blood flowed from his shoulders as the sword came out from the other side, blowing Derrick away to the other side, destroying a building in the process.
The warrior was all smiles, but there was no screams from Derrick, Derrick rose from the rubbles like a puppet with a broken arm, blood flowed from his shoulders but was mixed with blood that he was already covered with, the extent of his injury was not known due to the amount of blood on him.
Derrick creaked as he walked before apparently running in full speed, he swung his other arm that was not injured using his dagger cutting off the warrior's arm in the process, the smile that was plastered on his face was replaced with a frown he held himself from screaming and looked in horror towards Derrick.
The warrior held his arm that was cut off in order to reduce the amount of blood that was flowing, he screaming towards Derrick "Don't come near me, you monster" he fell on his butt, screaming trying to crawl away from Derrick's view.
The last warrior saw this, he shivered and peed on himself, he threw away his sword and fled, the slave trader watching everything happening from the distance also fled the scene screaming for his life.
Ella was already shivering from beginning of the battle she curled up into a ball, seeing Derrick's bloody mess, she was useless from the beginning to the end, and she wasn't used to such a scene, she was an intermediate mage but due to the formation, her powers were cut in halve fear gripped her and she became powerless.
All the mages that were controlling the formation ran away leaving the fallen warriors who couldn't move or have already passed out.
Derrick could only vaguely see the scene, there were different cuts in his body, his vision were blurry due to the blood covering his eyes, his hair looked more darker than they were already, Derrick stood there for some minutes looking up to the sky with blood dripping from his body.
He looked like a war God, who just left a battle field, but he knew that this was a lesson to him, he only imagined if this warriors were as strong as the orcs he fought during his younger years and the formation was also placed on him, he would already be dead by now.
After a few minutes standing and looking up to the sky, Derrick collapse, he has lost alot of blood during his fight and his abilities were not back to normal yet.
Seeing Derrick collapse on the floor Ella fear increased and shivering reduced, she screamed ""Derrick"", Derrick vaguely saw her scream running towards him before he lost consciousness.
