Chapter 3: Hard Slaps

"E-Eisen? Is that you?" Another one from the crowd of players approached him and tried to talk to him. "I never knew you were such massive Zodiac Ascension player! If I did, I would have totally befriended you…" That was a lie.

This person was not telling the truth at all, and Eisen knew about it. "Jay, right? I remember you. You were the one who was whispering into Randy's ears about what he should do to me next." Eisen stared at him with his blue eyes. Right into his very soul itself, his gaze was colder than ice as he walked away from the bully and made himself scarce.

But Eisen's shoulders were grabbed by Jay as he had a pissed off expression on his face. "Y-You think are some kind of big shot now? You think that just because you've become your avatar from this shitty game, you are automatically better than all of us here?!" Jay shouted at him.

Eisen smirked at the desperate bully. "Given the circumstances of the world we are living in right now, then yes. I do think that in terms of sheer power and strength. I am above you, Jay. I am so far above you that you could not even put a dent on me even if you tried." Eisen said to him in a derogatory manner.

"L-Let us see where that confidence will take you, big headed nerd!" Jay exclaimed as he pulled out his steel sword and pointed it straight at Eisen. "Take out your sword and face me!" Jay screamed once again.

"Do you want me to take care of this guy instead?" Blizz asked Eisen Evans. Eisen quickly shook his head. "I appreciate your concern, Blizz. But sometimes, these people have to be slapped with the harshest of realities and the truth that I faced day by day yesterday." Eisen said as he cracked his knuckles.

Jay ran towards him with his sword drawn out. "Even with all those fancy gears and armors of yours, you are still a wimp deep inside!" Jay exclaimed as he finally began to show his true colors and nature after Eisen saw right through him.

The Gemini sighed as he only raised his palms at Jay who was bull-rushing closer and closer in on him. "Be careful, you might kill him…" Blizz whispered. Eisen had a confused look on his face as he turned to Blizz. "Yeah, yeah. I get it, I did not tell you earlier. But it was just because I wanted to confirm it for myself. I saw an incident earlier before you got up. Two idiots went at it and bled each other out with their blades, they both died, of course. So, in conclusion, if you die in this world merged with Zodiac Ascension and your reality, you will not respawn." Blizz told him just at the nick of time before Eisen was about to turn him into a roasted hunk of flesh.

"Flame Half: Controlled Burn." He said as he held the steel sword with his own bare hands. "The thing is, Jay. You are a level twenty or something mercenary, from the looks of it. While I am a Zodiac. Try not to get ahead of yourself and learn from this experience." Eisen smiled at him before turning his sword into dust from his scalding flames.

The flames stopped burning as soon as the sword was gone, only leaving Jay with a few burn marks on his hand. He wailed after being literally burnt by Eisen as he dropped to the ground.

Eisen looked down on Jay. "You should go to a healer as soon as possible." Eisen said before turning around and going with Blizz. The crowd of people from their high school were mesmerized at what they had just seen.

"I-Is that really the same wimp from before?" A player from the crowd asked. "Yeah. There is no doubt about it…who would have thought that he'd be one of the Zodiacs…" They all fell silent as Eisen walked away from the school.

"So, what now, Blizz?" Eisen asked his other half. Before Blizz could reply, the whole sky was flickering and flashing.
