9:00 Am,
Fate's pov
RING...RING...RING...
The ghastly theme of my cell phone stirs me up from my slumber 'Agh, not Now!' I nuzzle my face into the soft mattress craving to feel the sluggish layer 'Did Jerry bring new Covers?'. The snug sun radiates glitter on my skin making my other nerve system wake up 'it's been a long time since I rest'
Bright flashes strike my visions. I sat up a little Adjusting my eyes to the flashes I found a Foreign bed, a soft layer wrapping around my body and the room I could vaguely remember. The classic furnish is not my room! Where am I . the anguish and emotions begin to clamp me 'D-did I!'
Last night I was at the club then I take a drink and then....?
My eyes went wide as I could sense a presence beside me. Slowly I pull the covers and sighed At least I'm dressed that means I didn't have sex with someone. but whoever the person is still snoozing.
**Ring** Ring**...
The abrupt theme startled me. scooting away from the bed I reach to hold the cell phone. Misstep.The next thing I know I fall off the bedside "Oww.." A cry out from my throat. Clutching the side of my head I rub my temples.
Great! My back is hurting now!
Peeking at the bed to see if the person woke up from my bumbling. They didn't they are still sleeping in a nest of blankets. I get the phone from the lamp table Jerry's name popped on the screen. Jerry Is my fairy godmother and my best friend. how long did I sleep this time? This is unreal Jerry won't believe it.
I click the answer bottom
"Hey Jerry " I whisper
"Now your answering listen you young lady you are really in a big mess where the hell is you? Do you even how worried we came back NOW don't you dare to repeat me..you little-...." I cut the call
'This girl seriously! here I am dying and she is yelling at me !'
Deliberately I take small steps and open the door carefully not to make another sound. I got up. Departing the halls I end up in front of a lobby room. An ornate Lobby where people were well dressed up in black suits but thankfully they didn't bother to look at me.
Wait!
A hotel?
well it's quite fancy I could never afford this let's just go back home now Fate's troubles are waiting for you
40 minutes later,
**Ding..**
"Hey Jerry Derry," I said with a smile
"Don't you dare to Jerry Darry me where the hell you have been I call the club they said you left at night and didn't even take your payment "
"Neither do I know"
"Huh! Seriously we were worried to hell now you are saying you don't even know where you have been "
"It's just my head it hurts" I sat on the couch Jerry is getting worried as she came closer and sat beside me
"Fate what's wrong "
"I think I...' i didn't finish my words "sister you're finally home " looking up I see my little sister Joey
"Are you okay you didn't come back home last night you didn't finish your story. "Joey said with a sad face
"Nothing is wrong Joey look I'm fine. I'm sorry, I will finish it another time "
"It's okay sista, we were worried because you didn't come, "
"Aww Joey sweetheart don't be sad it won't happen again I promise "
"You promise " her eyes look bright as I promise her.
"Yes," looking into her eyes say.
"Okay that's enough, for now, let's get going then Joey lets go your late for your art classes now, " Jerry announced
"And you get dressed and eat something we have to go to work," said Jerry looking at me.
At the cafe,
"I see you guys are finally here " Miss Cane our boss said
Gorgeous if that's how we can describe her. She's always nice to everyone. After we move to New Harrington .she's the sweetest person who helps us not with the jobs but the apartment too, and now we work for her café it's not so big, but its kind of cozy the salary is not much, but we love to work for her. Sometimes I wonder why she's helping us, afterall we are strangers but Guess she is just too nice for everyone.
"Ay madam," Jerry said
Miss Cane chuckled "Oh dear, Jerry I know I'm your boss, but I already told you don't have to call me madam or something you can call me by my name or Miss Cane ".
"I know boss lady but it's cool to hear you know like madam boss lady, " Jerry said.
"Yeah yeah it's not like you ever gonna listen to me "
"Oh dear my Boss lady only you know"
"Good morning Miss Cane," I said holding her special black coffee for starting her new day.

"My coffee, thanks "
"Well now you both are here so let's start the work shall we, Fate dear come to my office now please "

"Hey we didn't finish our early talk okay you still have to answer me where have you been," Jerry darry said more like demand
"Gosh okay, Momma" I tease "Yeah I know you're my fairy godmother I will answer your question but first let me find the answers first," I said before leaving Miss Cane's office.
Knock knock. I wait.
"Yeah come in," Miss Cane said
"So what it is Miss Cane "
"Fate here," she said handing me an envelope
"what is it ..?" Picking up the envelope I found "money?" miss Cane looked at me with a smile on her face "huh Miss I think there is some mistake it's a lot I don't think it's mine," I said looking at the money well I know I need money that doesn't mean I will take something that doesn't even belong to me.
"well Fate dear it's yours," Miss Cane said.
"But Miss it's-..'
"Fate it's from the club they said you did a really good job Last night but you didn't show up to take your payment so they have to send it to me .." Miss Cane explains
"last night at the club ..?" I asked.
"yes Fate at the club you did a nice job but the club members and the owner didn't see you so they send your payment to me now you know it truly belongs to you so have it"
"Miss Cane I ... don't have words thank you so much for your help "
"Fate dear you don't have to thank me I just did my job now let's get to work shall we"
"Ay ay, Madam," I said as Miss Cane laughs.
"Here have a look at this I found some new food and drink collection do you think we can add this to our menu "
"Of course Miss but we have to ask Carol first after all she's our cool chef "
" Right we have to a little meeting for that.., btw that's a really pretty ring dear," Miss Cane said pointing at my finger slowly I draft my eyes and see

"Are you going to tell me now what happened to look if you are angry that I shouted in the morning? Listen that was because I Was really worried that doesn't mean you will not talk to me "Jerry said seriously this dramatic woman. we were returning home after work with Joey.

"Off course Joey dear let's go," I say bending a little
"come on Joey hop on let me give you a piggyback ride "

At The Apartment,
9:30 Pm,
"So what happened last night I'm curious "I swear this fairy godmother of mine.
"Don't tell your flower to get popped by some drunk stranger" or wait you sold your body to someone or oh no you kill someone. Do you think we should call a lawyer ?"Jerry said with a serious expression

"Do you think any of that can happen? " I said crossing my arms

Well, I guess I have to remember what happened.
we were currently in the living room me and Jerry having a serious talk about last night and Joey watching her favorite show.
"Last thing I remember was there was a girl who give me a glass of water and after that, I don't remember anything "
"Do you think the girl may be drugging you or something? "Jerry said I know she's serious sometimes even if she behaves like a dramatic woman, but I know she cares
"I don't know maybe"
"Well I'm just glad that you're okay"
"Sista I'm sleepy," Joey said looking at us. She's right it's late now we should stop I should just forget about this it's not like something colossal happened everything is back to normal like yesterday.
"Yeah I too let's go, Jerry, "I said looking at Jerry who was not pleased with my answers.
"Yeah whatever "
Joey holds my hand playing with my fingers as we go to her room "wow sis ta your wedding ring is gorgeous"
"HUH...!. Wait... What...?" looking back Jerry and I notice right the ring that I have had on my finger since last night that ...the is not just an ordinary ring it's a diamond wedding ring lords where did I even .this is more costly than my life .how the freaking hell.
"Now do you think we should not get worried about what happened last night Fate" looking at me Jerry said.
I don't want to talk about it but

"Do you have any plan ...?" Jerry asked
"Plan for what"
"What do you mean for, what? don't you want to know who's the person who gives you the ring "
"I want to know because. because I have to give him back his ring"

Again I narrowed my eyes

1:00 Am,
"You think you can run.?. You are nothing but a stupid failure you are just like your mother just die already.." nails are dug into my neck I can feel blood dripping from my neck
He's not stopping
He never wants to stop
He likes to see this
He loves to do this
My lungs they are giving up
PAIN.
I can feel my eyes slowly closing. My body can't take this it's already too much. I guess this is my end.

My sleep is cursed with my past and my past is my nightmares
I thought I will sleep today just like the previous night but, I guess I was wrong my nightmares will always find their way to me.
2:30 Am
Leaving the bed I sat on the leaving room couch.
I hold the book that I'm reading recently because I can't sleep. I look at my ring finger, the ring that holds a mystery.
I don't know how and why but for one night someone took my nightmares away. but in the end, we are back to reality.
