Chapter 17: Chapter 17: Meeting new family
Dragging a half-dead Perseus back to their bedroom to get him ready to meet his future family members, Nyx decided to give him a little reward as encouragement.
Calling her sisters- Themis and Tethys to join her, they happily obliged. The 3 Titanesses took turns bathing and massaging their beloved lord husband. And as for the said husband, although his body was in Tartaurus, he felt that he was in heaven.
After taking a bath and changing his clothes, Perseus was guided by the Imperial Eunuch into the Dinning Hall.
The dining hall was decorated using a white gold it colour scheme, with diamond chandeliers hanging from the ceiling, giving the whole play an elegant vibe. There was a gigantic round table at the center of the room that looked very grand with throne-looking chairs to accompany it.
On the grandest throne chair sat the Creation God of the Underworld- Tartaurus, and to his right sat Nyx, Themis and Tethys. On his left sat the Nine Beginning Titans - Crius, Coeus, Hyperion, Iapetus, Oceanus, Mnemosyne, Phoebe and Rhea.
Seeing that the only empty seat left was the seat opposite Tartaurus, Perseus assumed that the seat was his and sat down in it.
"Imperial Eunuch have the servants serve the food"
Tartaurus commanded after seeing Perseus take his seat.
Bowing his head, the Imperial Eunuch immediately sent word before leaving the dining hall.
"Son-in-law I've heard from Nyx about your plan to enter the greek camp as a spy. It is indeed a good idea since they would never expect a demigod to betray them. However, it is also very dangerous. If you are found, even I might not be able to rescue you. Although I can easily kill those puny Olympus Gods, I am physically bound to Tartaurus as this entire plane is my body. The best I can do is send my spirit form but that won't be enough to save you from the Olympian Gods. Think carefully son-in-law."
"Rest assured father-in-law. When I proposed the idea, I had already thought it through. What more now that I have 3 beautiful wives. I can't leave them as widows right?
"I have already come up with a few ideas on how to infiltrate the greek camp. I'll immediately set off after absorbing Nyx's Prime Blood Essence and becoming a demigod. I'll act as a stray demigod and enter the camp. Besides, the gods have so many children. As long as I show similar powers to one of the Olympian Gods, they most likely wouldn't suspect a thing."
"Hahaha... that's my good son-in-law. Don't worry since you are risking your life to help us titans, we definitely will reward you when everything has been accomplished."
"After breakfast, follow us to the war room we can discuss your plan in greater detail and also give you your 'wedding gifts' to help you on your mission."
Seeing that the food had been served and was starting to turn cold already, Tartaurus ended the conversation and signalled to everyone to start eating.
