Chapter 6: Chapter Five: Theo’s Infantia
"Where is the young princess & prince!?" <Royal Guard>
"Wait! Did you lose sight of those two!? Lumi, Theo!!" Lumi's mom calls for them.
"Come on Theo! Hurry up before Natsumi gets back!" <Lumi>
That there is my best friend Lumi Kaida Pyry she's five years older than me. She's also the Princess of the country we live in called Xadia. She's the only child in the ice dragon family also the reason I'm called a prince is that the king & queen are my god-parents plus they hope that one day me & Lumi get married when we are older.
I've been living in this world for 5 years now. My mother Kendra told me 2 years ago that I was actually reincarnated/reborn from a different world & that my other parent was a goddess. When I asked her which goddess it was, she said when the time is right, I'll know. I believe she told me that I was reborn because when I started learning swordsmanship from Runi one of my mother's elite guards I easily picked it up like I was a natural.
The same thing goes from when I was training in hand-hand combat with Lyra another one of my mother's elite guards. My mom told me that in my past life I was ranked number 2 in the in my world in swordsmanship & rank number 1 in martial arts. She gave me a list of different martial arts and some of them are Taekwondo, Jujutsu, Kickboxing, Kendo, Judo, Aikido, Wing Chun, and Fencing and that's only a small number that she said I knew.
But the one thing that seems to puzzle me is my abilities. Me & my mother are the only lightning dragons left but that's not the mystery. The mystery is the number of abilities I have & how fast I get stronger & better especially in these past two years. It's like if I think of an ability & truly believe that I need or can use said ability then I can.
I need more answers I think my mom or Natsumi can help me find the answer.
"Theo!!"
"Yea yea I'm coming just calm down KP!"
"Look there's the dungeon that I was talking about. Let's see what's inside."
"Look logically this isn't a smart idea but I'm very curious to see what's inside besides I can't let you go alone. Who knows what you might do." I say while laughing at her.
As we enter, I started getting a very eerie feeling down my spine like my senses is warning me about danger up ahead or it could be nothing its more of a caution. We proceed even further but with caution keeping a look out for any threats.
"So far so boring I mean no monsters, bandits, or anything!" I say to KP as we continue.
"Yea you're right I thought we would have been found something or someone down here."
"KP you never told me how you found this place."
"To be honest it was just on random luck that is all."
"You know if our parents find out we are so dead KP! besides my mother is scary when she is angry."
As we explore deeper into the dungeon, we actually run into some bandits. They got this look on their face like they just hit the jackpot & came across some kids who'll be easy pickings.
"My my look at what we have here boys a couple of rich kids. Are you two boys lost do you need help?" <Guy Bandit #1>
"Boys umm excuse me but I'm a girl! You dumb shits." <KP>
"Yea she really is she's just a tomboy that is all."
"Never mind all of that do you know who I am?"
"KP don't say it's not wise!"
"I'm Princess Lumi Kaida Pyry!! So, if you know what's good for ya you'll leave!"
"Oh, now that you mentioned it you do look familiar. You just look different with the clothes you're wearing." <Guy Bandit #1>
"How much do you think they'll pay for a ransom for their precious daughter? & Him he's the son of Kendra if I remember correctly." <Guy Bandit #2>
There are about 8 of them & they are circled around us. Three of them have this perverted expression. I see there're lusting over Kaida I can't stand pedo's but they are in for a surprise though. You would think species of the same group wouldn't do these kinds of things but good thing I'm naive.
"Hey boss I think we should have some fun with the girl & boy first if you get my drift," he says while licking his lips <Guy Bandit #3>
"Yea I don't know what y'all think is about to happen neither of you is going to touch me or her you sick freaks!!!"
Lightning started surrounding me creating an aura the angrier I get. But before I could do anything something beats me to it. There's this powder blue & Chetwood blue slimy stuff falling from the top of the dungeon. As it falls it starts burning the bandit's clothes, weapons & it's even penetrating their tough dragon scales. It's eating them alive but for some reason, it's not attacking us though.
As me & KP stood there & watched in confusion & curiosity. It only took that slimy thing no more than 45 seconds to fully consume them. I release my lightning & the aura surrounding me & KP because I tell this creature isn't hostile thanks to my divine eyes. It regenerates itself back to its normal slime size.
It turns out to be a female slime. Before I could speak it leaped at the basket full of mangos that I brought & started eating them. I decided to speak to her & to thank her.
"Hey umm I want to say thanks for what you did not too long ago."
She just stares at me as she eats the mango not saying a word. I wonder if she can speak or anything or if she's just ignoring me.
"I'm not ignoring you I can just only talk telepathy & not voice-wise."
"Oh wow! If you want, I can help with that also why did you help us back there & how can I repay you?"
"Because I can tell that you're a good person plus you're the son of Kendra. I do have a request if you are willing to that'll be enough to repay me."
"You know my mother? Also name your price, money, protection, land whatever it may be."
"I want you to be my friend & I want to be one of your protectors or guards or whatever it is."
"My friend!? Really are you sure?"
"Yes, I have no friends because I'm not like the other slimes I was cast out because I was different."
"Well, if that's what you want then it's fine with me. Also, what's your name by the way?"
"My name is Mango I was given that name because of my love for mangos!"
"Well, Mango it's a pleasure meeting you & an honor having you with us. This here is my best friend Lumi but I call her KP for short."
"That's right you're the dragon princess. It's nice to me you your highness."
"Please no need to be so formal you can call me KP as well."
"Right! KP it is then."
We decided to head back home because our parents are probably super mad right now. It's not like they are worried about us but more worried about other people because of us. An example will be KP freezing an entire city last year because someone disrespected me. KP is hot-headed & has a quick temper from time to time. As we get closer to the castle, I can see Natsumi, my mom, KP's mother they look pissed.
"WHERE HAVE YOU TWO BEEN!!??" <Kendra>
"We just went to a dungeon to check it out that is all." <Theo>
"Young Deus why didn't you tell me where you were going no matter of fact why didn't you come & get me!?" <Natsumi>
"It's not his fault Lady Kendra, I drugged him along with me. It's me who should be mad at." <KP>
"Now Lumi you know much as well as I know that Theo can't say no to you just as much you can't say no to him. Both of you are closer than two catfishes in a skillet neither one of you will let the other travel or go somewhere alone." <KP's Mother>
"Oh, mother I have a new friend meet Mango she's a slime." <Theo>
"A slime you say how nice. It's nice to meet you Mango how are you?"
"She can only communicate via telepathy until doing something about it."
"You both are not still off the hook but we'll talk about that later we need to get you ready for your birthday party in two days Young Deus." <Natsumi>
Oh, yea that's right I totally forgot all about my 5th birthday party. I told them that I don't want a party but my mom & the king & queen insisted anyways. We all headed back to the castle while me & KP were getting lectures the whole way. When we got back me & KP and took Mango on a tour around the castle.
Once we finished with that me & KP went to train & spar for a few hours while Mango sat & watched. Once we got done with that, we hit the showers we took Mango into town this time with Natsumi to make sure we don't cause any trouble. We went to me and KP's favorite pasta shop.
Me & KP ordered our usual seafood pasta with cheese sticks. Mango had a special order made for her mango pie. Once we finished eating, we took Mango to tour the rest of the town and we also picked her up some clothes & fresh mangos & head back to me my house to chill for the rest of the day.
The next day me & KP did our daily training session which ranges from Dragon Royal martial arts, strength training, yoga, meditation, & cardio & endurance training. We do this for about 6-7 hours a day every day. Only one more day until my birthday I've learned you're not an adult until you reach the age the 50 in dragon years but in humans, you are considered an adult at the age of 20.
I'm 5 in dragon years but 2 in human years. I'm what you'll call a Wyrmling & KP is considered very young & is 6 in human years. We won't be adults until we reach 100+ years in dragon time which roughly equals 20 something in human years. I try not to pay too much to it because it can be tricky.
I also learned the currency here which is Zella a paper currency, then we have the coins which are Gold, Silver & Copper. Two gold coins equal 1 Zella bill, 4 silver coins equal 1 gold coin & 5 coppers equal 4 silver coins. That's just a quick overview of that there are other things that I've learned but we'll talk more about that later.
Mango seems to be settling in really well everyone actually likes hers & that's good to hear. Now it's about time for me to get ready to go to bed because I have a big day tomorrow plus, I'm tired because my mom & the queen was having a field day with me by having me try on different clothes for my birthday party.
Natsumi still hasn't told me what she plans on doing as punishment for me & KP's disappearance the other day. She probably got some super intense training for us it is killing me that she hasn't said anything yet. Maybe KP knows anything... Nah that's not possible because she would have told me by now.
