Chapter 2: Blitzkrieg
As soon as Ramirez sat in his presidential sit. Paperwork was put by his secretary and former friend, Gonzales.
"Are you sure this will be your choices? I hope the other country won't interfere." He warns.
"They won't, even if they do, they won't be able to do anything." He scoff as he imagine the situation of the western world after the reformation of the Philippines, the current frontline of the war.
Rearmaments and modernization of the Armed Force Of the Philippines.

Boosting nationalism.
That's few of Ramirez's plan to reestablish his own country as one of the independent that will rise from its former self.
He will also decentralized the government so other provincial cities will have the way to develop themselves while he focus at rearming his nation.
This also includes the navy of his nation.
Since the once called dictator was abdicated, the plan to build their own aircraft carrier was trashed. However, now that he is have the power to replan such thing, not even the western powers will be able to stop him.

With their small and developing nation that can be considered as average. However, Ramirez is not satisfied.
Fortunately, the past president of the country was able to construct a railway. The only thing needs to do is modernize it.
For the economy, he will not let the oligarchs take control of it. And so, he plans to purge them, not by killing, but through bankruptcy.
After that, he will buy their company which will result to it being controlled by the government. The prices will may not go down fast, but the wages of the people will surely rise.
And though still not perfectly done by his plan, he have finish his first phase.
And the rest? Well, since no one will go against him this time and forever, he will have the every time until they finish or targeted to the enemy's next invasion.
But, he won't let them do that. Ramirez is a fierce men, a man of Wrath and Vengeance. No one but him will do harm to his nation.
Not even his own kind.

Four months later, due to the productivity of the newly reformed country. The estimated annual budget and their economical rate increase.
The newly built railway run faster than its former. A newly established governmental facilities were also opened.
The rearmaments of the AFP also proceeded smoothly and so is the mandatory recruitment.
3 million soldiers were able to join the military and the morale are unexpectedly high. The only problem is, the budget.
From the past admistration, the AFP, Philippine Navy, and Air Force were the least priority. Ramirez accepted this, this is because of the former pandemic.
"If not for this, we would have been able to modernize our army." he mutters as he hold his temple.
But thanks to his secretary, they were able to solve such problem.

5 months later, the year is 2023 and a year have passed since the emergence of the portal and collapse of the Eastern nations.
The Philippine is partially prepared.
Two aircraft carrier was independently constructed but with a small support of the Russia and India.
"As the Chief Commander of the Armed Force of The Philippines, it is right for me to come at the Frontline." He announce to his cabinet members which made them drop their jaw from the sudden absurd statement.
"Mister President, are you out of your mind???!!! Who even do such thing??!" one of his cabinet member, Jose, spoke.
"I do, and I won't be accepting your advices and warning. I am a great general myself." He confidentially said to himself.
"Please, mister president. This is not a game, lives will be lost inevitably, let the generals do their job." this time, Gonzales spoke. However...
"Fretnot, my friend. I will do what I always do."
"Don't tell me."
"Yes, blitzkrieg."
