Chapter 33: Party !?
After an hour we went back to others. Rahil was teaching them about how to defend with shields. Which was very Rahil like, he always prioritized defence over everything. To be honest his mindset for this was much better than mine, who just wanted to level up and learn new skills. I know that this was the real world for them, and not just a really high defination magical game with real characters which was my dumb brain's naive thinking sometimes, I knew that I should take all this much more seriously, but my old habits just makes me impatient to achieve new heights. I think I will be fine if I spend more time with people from this world.
" You two come with me " I said, looking at Shal and Bilky when we reached near them.
" You gonna teach us now ?! " Shal murmured.
" Really ? Neff you will ? " Bilky asked.
" No. I just want to talk " I said. And then we went little away from the others and I created four gold coins with my skill.
" Here take this." I gave each of them two.
" What !? Why are..? " Shal said loudly.
" It's two gold coins !!!?? " Bilky screamed.
" Just listen ! You guys are not going for the ceremony right ? But you're gonna have to show something at home right ? Just take it as compensation for your time " I explained.
" Neff, we can't even make 20 silver coins with a week's worth of drops " Shal said.
" It's fine. You don't have to give everything back right ? Just adjust as you feel like. But you can't just use it yet." I said.
" Thank you so much, Neff. But what do you mean can't use it yet ? " Bilky said hugging me tightly. I guess she was really worrying about it. I had done this especially for her to be honest.
" The supervisor !! " Shal figured it out.
" Yes. Keep an eye on him if his coins work perfectly even after being analyzed by shopkeepers, only then you should use it. " I explained.
" You didn't have to do it. You could have just given us the drops you guys have collected." Shal said.
" Drops are inconsistent and it wastes your time and strength to take it home or sell it. Plus I want you guys to know that your efforts are not in vain. I will also give this to you two every week so work hard on learning without any hesitation or holding back. " I said.
" Thanks " That was the first time shal ever said that word to me.
" You are my angel !! " Bilky almost crushed me with hug.
" Okay okay let me go now….at least turn off your skill, I will die…." I was seriously getting crushed.
I left zhira in charge and went with rahil to teach him about various monsters and how to easily kill them. I had already taught him a lot of things so it was much better than zhira. He even listened and took notes of everything I said. He was also a back row fighter like me so I could teach him things with more details and understanding which was a plus point. I explained to him his role when we form a team with all five of us and he was really looking forward to it. He was my healer, to be honest the most important piece of my team. If I wanted everyone to stay alive, I needed him at his best. I grilled all the mmorpg fighting knowledge I had with healer into him, and weirdly enough he understood most of it.
For the last two weeks this was our routine. Teaching fighting techniques and help fulfilling skill conditions for Bilky and Shal, and getting to know monsters of carnia forest from afar sometimes with rahil but most of the time with zhira. The speed these two kids learned swordsmanship was really surprising ! For us it was an annoying morning exercise but for them it was rare cool fighting lessons. I hated swordsmanship training since it cut my sleeping time short. I wasn't very good at it either. Aras and Zhira thought I was a loser and my skill was wasted on me. They both were very jealous of a skill that could make any kind of swords and weapons as much as I wanted. And they thought it was very unfair of the world that I was the one who had it since I was the laziest, most untalented swordswoman in the world.
We gathered near the big tree again today. After some people who roamed around the big ground noticed us, a bunch of weird kids. I thought we can't go on like this. So I made an underground facility beneath the tree. The opening for this secret place was near the other two trees that were far from the big tree with table and chairs. But the facility I built was directly beneath this big tree. Two openings like a hatch on the ground were near the tree but another four openings that I had created were inside the forest. Two were for us who came from the palace through the forest. And the other two were just in case for emergency escape at random two places.
Inside the facility there was a wide tunnel with stone roads from the hatches to the main area. The main area was divided into a big meeting room, kitchen (though no one knew how to cook), washrooms , a training room, common rest room with beds, my personal room, and a library and research room. All equipped with air ducts and air conditioners. The most important thing for us was the meeting room. I had made a couch and comfortable chairs and beanbags etc. also a board.
We gather in the meeting room everyday then Shal and Bilky go to the training room with Rahil or Zhira and the other one is with me. We also made temporary notes about various monsters that we saw in the forest. Their appearances and habits plus how to kill them, where to find them etc. we called it ' Magipedia ' we also thought about calling it ' monsterpedia ' but it sounded a little negative. Plus it also contained information about magical creatures who were not monsters, we just found them randomly in the forest.
Today we were also in the meeting room. Everyone was present so I started,
" How is the training for swordsmanship and other weapons going ? "
" I taught them everything I know, now they just need practice and real experience." Zhira explained.
" They know almost everything that we do for now. " said rahil.
" good. And skills ? " I asked.
" I learned side step, master control, shadow, and aqua spin… Neff " Said Bilky excitedly.
" I learned side step, master control, phase x, sky strike and the wall " Said Shal like he was my employee and I was his evil boss who didn't pay his overtime salary. We were used to this contrast of personality between them by now.
" Okay sounds good. What do you guys say? Wanna go as a party today ? " I asked nonchalantly because I knew they all really really wanted to.
" Wait…Neff they are…" Rahil tried to say something.
" Yessssssss...…..finally…." Bilky exploded.
" At last " Shal tried to hide it but his expressions betrayed him.
" I want more equipments… " Zhira shamelessly asked for more equipments.
" We will try going slow. But if you guys can get the hang of it we'll do this more often from now on. " I said.
" They don't have any B rank offensive skill yet. " Rahil finally said It.
" It's fine we won't need any today " I said.
" Let's go then " Zhira said standing up.
We all stood up and went outside. We were officially starting our first level up expedition. I had grilled them over and over about how they need to listen to me when we go as a party. So it was time to find out how much potential we had as a party. Then I was just going to say sprint when shal spoke,
" Aren't we going as a party ? "
" That's what we are doing… " I said. What was with him? Was he confused ?
" Neff, he is asking for an invitation. " Rahil said.
" Huh ? What invitation ? " I said. Was I missing something ?
" Don't tell me you don't know about party invitations now." Shal was irritated.
" As a leader of the party you invite us to join you Neff…." Rahil explained.
" Ohh ! Is it some kind of ritual ? " I asked. I seriously didn't know
! Was forming a party some sacred thing for commoners ?
" Do like this…" Rahil made a weird hand gesture.
" No you dumbass, that's not how you do it. It's like this.. " Then Shal made another weird gesture.
" has anyone here ever seen or done the party invitation ? " I asked.
" No " Shal, Bilky and Zhira said at once.
" You just ask them directly right ? " Said Zhira.
" I already asked all of you. " I said.
" What difference does it make ? let's go " Said Bilky bit annoyed.
" No. When you are in a party, your experience is shared equally and everyone can see each other's magicules and basic stats. " Rahil revealed everything he had heard about forming a party.
" Okay wait. If I am supposed to invite you then…" I closed my eyes and focused on inviting Bilky to come with me.
" Oh ! I got it !! " Bilky chimed.
" How ? " Others asked.
Then I opened my eyes and imagined inviting all of them with me to level. They all touched their own stats window to accept I think and then I heard a voice in my head.

I opened my stats window and rahil was right. I could see all of their basic stats like strength, vitality, stamina, battlewill and magicules.
" How did you do it without any hand gestures ??! " Rahil asked.
" I just thought about inviting you all deeply and it happened. " I said.
" So cool ! I can see everyones stats now. " Rahil exclaimed.
" Yes. Let's go, we are wasting precious time ! " I reminded.
" Yes leader….." All of them shouted together, even Zhira.
We activated a sprint and started running deeper into the forest in a formation. Zhira and Bilky were at the head then shal in the middle leaving rahil and me in the back row. It was not a perfect formation we still needed a long distance attacker and defence in back row who could pair with healer. Right now I was responsible for two jobs as defence for healer and long range attacker, while doing my main job as overall defence and support plus command. Zhira and Bilky were MT, they would take on monsters first then Shal as main damage dealer and Rahil and my support. I created this formation with the intention to give Bilky and Shal as much first hand experience as possible while keeping them perfectly safe. All of them were in my 10 meter range so I could support anyone at any given moment
