Chapter 3: Familiarizing (chap 3)
It has been over a week since I've came to this world and I ought to tell ya it's been boring
seriously no internet and phones and all I do is sleep eat and cry all day even if I have my powers to keep me company
I'm still a baby so I can't use my powers continuously without getting the risk of being caught
but today luckily for me it seems we're going outside my house because a baby needs fresh air or is what my parents said
And so that is why I am here outside being coed at by children
Well after sometime the children left and go play somewhere else anyway we're only walking around to what seems to be a village
As we were walking by something interesting caught my eye it is a huge boar being carried by 3 people
'Omg look at the size of that thing' I thought amazed
My mother noticed me staring the boar chuckled
"That's a great boar Alden it's tusk can take down dozens of trees without problem" my father said and I replied with some sounds
My father continued saying facts about the great boar and I just replied here and there and my father seems amused this go on a while then I saw the great boar being butchered
Naturally my parents tried to stop me from seeing it being chopped up but when they see me struggling to look at it they gave up and came up to them
'Geez they gave so easily' I thought but I was not dissatisfied
"Are you guys sure you'll let your kid watch this" the guy butchering the boar said
"It's fine if we stopped him from seeing this he'll throw a fit either way" my mother said and the butcher just laugh
We were watching the guy butchering the great boar when I notice a odd stone in it's stomach the butcher took it out and my father said this
"That's a magic stone it's used to make artifacts and other stuff and It also can enhance your self depending on what type of stone it is " my father said proudly as if he was talking about himself I ignored him and keept looking at the magic stone shocked
'No way there's the weird words in the mana core in the magic stone' I thought really shocked
Wait does this mean a magic stone is just like a mana core!?
if it is then can a magic stone be used as an alternative that would've been awesome
The adults noticed that I kept looking at the magic stone with shining eyes and the butcher said
"...Do you want the magic stone?"
the question came to me as a surprise does he think I want it I mean I'm curious about it and want to see if it can act as a mana core.... surely it can't hurt to say yes right?
and with that thought I nodded at the butcher's question tho my father and mother suddenly stiffened
"A-ah well buy it fro-" my father stutters over his words clearly panicked but was interupted by the butcher
"Its fine it's fine hahaha" the butcher ignores my father's stuttering laughs it off and gives me the stone with no hesitation
My father then thanked the butcher really hard including my mother too
'...I guess magic stones are really valuable' I thought thinking I made a mistake tho I still observed the magic stone in my hand deeply
'so the weird words are really here'I thought to myself as I continue observing the stone
and while this happens my parents thanked the butcher once more and procede to leave and we go back home
I was already a bit tired form being coed at by children and the walk even if I did nothing and just lay down in my parents hand so I have no objection on returning home besides I want to test this magic stone already
I was put in a crib again unfortunately my parents took the magic stone in my hands because fearing it might break
I was quite sad about this but didn't reject it because my parents are dumb enough to just put in a shelf in my room and I can make the teddy golem retrieve the stone for me
I immediately sleep while thinking these things because I need my mental energy for an experiment so I must rest and do it afterwards
