I decided to keep this as silent for as long as I could because once I shot I would get swarmed and that wouldn't be good.
I equipped my armor and took my weapons and melee weapons and began my extermination of the pestilence.
the first thing I did was clear the buildings in case they were hiding in there, and for this part, I used my suppressed m4à1.
while the noise was canceled out a lot it didn't help for the eagles that had already mutated and could hear even a pen drop from half a mile away.
I made sure to have CONSTANT VIGILANCE every time I appeared outside because while the suit may be impenetrable, the repair I would have to do would kill me.
now that seventy-one of the seventy-three zombies were dead I was going to have to move at a faster pace.
I also noticed it was becoming nighttime so I switched to night vision. I moved as quietly as I could inside the building but outside I made sure
to be extra careful.
my senses were alerting me to a presence across the street and I looked over just in time to see fire coming toward me.
with no time to think I rolled to my left and successfully Dodge the attack when a fist also come my way.
I used my speed to my advantage and rolled again avoiding what seemed like almost certain death. I looked at the hole that the zombie caused and gulped a little.
I paid more attention to the margwa and the tank and I had to calculate my moves extremely well otherwise I'll become zombie food... again.
I took my chance and shot at the margwa's head and popped it causing it to run. now the tank had come out of the building and I switched to melee as using a long-range weapon in a close combat situation wasn't the best idea.
I dodged the tank's attack and used it as a springboard to dodge some of the skulls that the margwa summoned.
I switched to my pistol since it was faster than reloading, and took a few quick shots at the margwa's open mouth.
he let out a roar that I knew would attract more zombies. I silently cursed and turned back to the charging tank and waited to the last second and he crashed into the margwa causing them both to tumble to the ground.
not one to waste an opportunity like this I shoved my Bowie knife into the mouth of the tank while aiming at the margwa's head.
I kicked the knife as hard as I could while simultaneously shooting the last head.

I dug out the crystals and got a purple core and a blue core and quickly deposit it in my inventory and looked over at the horde coming my way.

I quickly clicked yes and pulled out a purple scythe. I used to observe on it and was shocked at what I had seen, to bad there were zombies here.

who said death had a pitch black scythe... obviously they were lying. this weapon cannot be accessible to other people.
effects: when killed by the weapon it releases the soul's torment and takes them to their preferred afterlife.]
I could see thousands of zombies coming my way and I put as much of my SP into my stats.

I looked at the horde approaching and did the only thing I could do at this time. play music...

slash, roll, dodge, repeat... I had lost track of how long I was outside but I was glad to have this scythe on me. I was already tired but I had to get the cores of all the zombies before somebody else did.

I made my way to the bunker not caring about anything else at that moment. I entered the bunker and put my broken armor in the armory and took a shower ignoring everyone's concerned looks.
I watched as all the blood come off me and I stayed inside the shower for a long time to get the blood out of my hair.
when I finished I met with everyone in the dining hall. I left my scythe at the entrance to the bunker and made my way there.
I started eating a lot of food and I drank a lot of water. I finished eating before looking at the others looking at me concerned.
"alright listen up," I said as Vanessa was checking my body for injuries.
"What I'm about to give you will help you guys out in the long run, so don't think and swallow," I said giving them each a purple core.
Anna and Melissa immediately swallowed it and went to sleep, but Vanessa, Silena, and Eva didn't want to.
so I did it the old-fashioned way. I knocked them out and chewed it up and had to perform mouth-to-mouth and made sure they swallowed.
they will thank me for that later because they will be stronger than most tier 1 and two zombies. their skin will be hard to cut and their reaction speed will be increased almost tenfold.
I dropped them off in their rooms and took another shower, however this time I was moving with my eyes closed because of how tired I was.
when I opened the door to "my room" I grabbed a purple core and swallowed it and I fell in between two large mountains that I would later find out belongs to Selena.

I hope you enjoyed it, I tried to make it semi-realistic because if the scream the margwa let loose happened IRL, then that place would get swarmed almost immediately by zombies.
