Chapter 6: Chapter 6 EMPYREAN FURY ( Beat down 1 )
Kyle stared at the data of his opponent , the captain was higher in level than him by 14 levels but there BATTLE POWER wasn't all that exaggerated for the gap in level which surprised Kyle but he believed it had to do with him now of a more evolved and powerful race who where more stronger than humans naturally and of a higher dimension ..... what ever that means , but he was still cautious due to one thing he was still a low leveled at merely level 4 and was at the basic rank while the captain was already in the INTERMIDIATE TIER , Kyle was no fool as a human and after becoming an EMPYREAN he was even more smarter than before , 10× if he was going to follow the system due to a certain racial talent of every EMPYREAN ( INTELLECTUAL ) , he already deduced that their was a qualitative different between each tier , and besides the soldier was skilled in martial arts and an elite fighter while he only knew how to throw jabs and hooks , but still for some unknown reason he was itching for a fight , he wanted to see what this new body of his could do to those he always viewed as unreachable to him .
The captain had on his face a slight smug look on his face , he noticed the fear in the kid the moment he entered and even though the boy tried to suppress his fear by pretending to be unmoved he already saw through the boy .
' Hmm, kids this days , never fear I would give you a sound beating to relieve my anger' , Captain Jones thought.
With a push of his legs the captain bolted with inhumane speed right in front of Kyle and sent a palm strike at point blank hitting his chest , been to ill prepared for the assault he was violently thrown to the extreme of the wall before violently been slammed to the wall before crashing to the floor .
' Tssk , he was a weakling after all , I shouldn't have used my full strength back there.' , Captain Jones thought.
But before he could speak any further Kyle stood up while holding his chest .

' That hurts as fuck , but I am not dead , I have a shot at winning I just have to play it save.' Kyle thought .
Captain Jones seeing this was getting pissed with this little brat he was making him look weak to his underling , he couldn't stand for that , no more Mr nice soldier he was going to really to take this serious now .
With a single leap he appeared in front of Kyle sending a kick to his neck with insane speed and deadly strength , but Kyle was ready this time using his two hands to block the Captain's offense he found himself sliding back a few meters before coming to a stop , there was a slight sting but nothing more it wasn't anything he couldn't handle which was confirmed by his HP only reducing by a single percent .
{ HP - 95.2 } ( Note due to RAPID REGENERATION he heals 0.1% of his total health every second )
Kyle looked at the captain with a smile on his face .
Meanwhile the captain seeing this was about to deliver another attack when he felt a slight numbing sensation in his legs , it hurt quite a little in that leg he used just now , but that was impossible he was in his combat suit with top notch protection from bruises due to impact , this boy's body was insanely more sturdy than he expected .
Capitalizing on the laps in the defence of his opponent Kyle started his offense sending flurries of jabs and kick towards the captain , but unfortunately Kyle's attack where almost amateurish in the eyes of the veteran captain easily evading most and blocking some before sending a hook straight at Kyle's face which sent him soaring into the sky .

The captain not giving up followed Kyle and sending him a crushing kick to the ribs , making Kyle lose his oxygen and sending him plummeting to the ground rebounding back up before been meet by captain Jones left leg to the chest nailing him to the floor .
" Stand down boy ." , The captain said putting more force to his legs to stop the boy from standing up .
Kyle enraged by this tried his hardest to stand but was meet with the almost immovable legs of the captain and felt useless once again .
' No , No ,No , I already got this powerful but still , still I can't fight back , why ? why am I so useless ? ' , Kyle thought followed by an enraged shout from him .
" ARRRGGGHHH." , Kyle gave out a mighty shout followed by a screen appearing in front of him .
{ EMPYREAN FURY now active all combat prowess increased by 50% as well as all COSMIC CORE active skills }
Kyle began to feel a warm sensation coming from his COSMIC CORE circulating his body and he began to feel full of energy .
Captain Jones quickly noticed the difference in the boy if the pressure released by him wasn't a dead giveaway , the glowing and radiating skin from the lad was quite eye catching .
The captain shocked by the transformation of the boy wasn't expecting the hand that came hitting his legs with such force that he found himself losing his footing and almost falling , if not because of his many years of combat and dexterity of his body he wouldn't have been able to stabilize himself from falling , but that flaw was enough for Kyle to send a powerful kick to the skull of his opponent who despite managing to block the attack was sent flying towards the roof before falling down on his side . Kyle sent another kick aimed at the Captain's ribs but Jones quickly rolled for his life before getting back up on his feet .
The captain was visibly shocked by the increase in ferociousness of this kid , as well as all the soldiers and scientist team outside , but the captain wasn't even concerned about his reputation any more , he just wanted to over come this beast , which would be a really difficult task without Aether .
Kyle charged at the captain fist swinging and craving for blood , but even with his advantage in power now the captain was able to evade some of his attack while blocking the rest a testament to his martial art skills , Kyle visibly angry by this increased the tenacity of his attack .
With every attack Jones received he could feel his hands giving in to the flurry of attack with severe pains in his hands due to the strength of the blows but he knew if he let just one of those blows land on him it would signify his beat down , the lieutenant Captains outside could not believe what they where witnessing , Captain Jones a veteran of the captain class who could deal with each of them easily and was almost ready to break through into the famed HEROIC tier and becoming a Colonel of the Federation was being overpowered and dominated by a newly awakened brat with no martial skills it was to absurd to be real but it was happening right in front of them .
This pattern went on for 20 seconds with Kyle been on the offensive and captain Jones on the defense , and although 20 seconds seem like a short while but , from the perspective of superhuman beings with super human speed , reaction and thought process , that 20 seconds is enough to launch hundreds of attack and decide the winner between a fight .
Finally the moment Kyle was waiting for arrived with a straight punch from him breaking through the Captain's tight defense and hitting him straight to the face with immense strength , causing the captain to lose his form and balance due to the strength behind the punch and sending him falling to the floor .
The single punch Kyle delivered to the captain was so strong that the captain thought he was slammed by a hammer , which made his vision black out for a while before he regained himself , but that moment of unclarity decided the outcome of the spar .
Kyle sat on the Captain delivering blows after blows to the captain while having an evil grin on his face .
The head scientist seeing this although dumbfounded showed why she was in charge of the operation by been decisive enough , deactivating the sequence that stopped the flow of Aether .
Kyle who was still happily pounding the now bloody captain into the floor suddenly saw a gaseous substance entering the room before been absorbed into the body of the captain who for some reason was releasing a much oppressive aura .
Kyle not wanting to give the captain any breathing space throw another punch the Captain's way but was shocked when his fist was caught by the captain before he throw him half across the room .
standing up slowly the captain touched his now bloody face before shouting .
" You fucking monster , you took this to far , how dare you disgrace me like this?.", The Captain said with every word filled with anger hate and disgust .
Kyle simply watched with caution as the strange gas continued to circle around the captain , he could see the gas slowly enter the Captains body and fuse with him
" You will pay for this." , with immense strength he lifted himself landing a kick on Kyle's rib sending him flying like a broken kite and making him spin in the air before crashing on the floor .

Kyle didn't need to look at the text to know that the Captain's strength had become more deadly , he felt like his ribs was broken but he could feel a slight tingling sensation right where he hurt which he linked to his RAPID REGENERATION .
' Oh shit , I fucked up didn't I. ' .
