Chapter 7: 6: First Class (3 - Final)

"A Class?" Damian asked Arch inquisitively. Obviously, he knew there were classes judged by how his System has a levelling and Cultivation function, but this was the first time he heard anything about classes. Damian hoped to learn more about classes.

He got his wish as soon as Arch began to explain.

Classes were categorized based on their rarity across the entire Omniverse-including the Variant Timelines. From X (the highest rarity), it went in descending order: SSS, SS, S, A, B, C, D, E, and finally F. These ranks were further divided by their subrarity (F-, F, F+) which allowed many Classers to distinguish between those who have weaker or stronger Classes while within their own rank.

"From what I know about your System, you should be able to have multiple Classes without any hassle," Arch explained. "Except, you have to have some Class Synergy between them all."

"Class Synergy?" Damian inquired.

Arch nodded. "Some Classes are not compatible with each other based on certain factors. Not all of the factors are known, so I suggest caution before choosing your first Class."

"How do I go about choosing my Class then?" Damian asked-unable to hold his excitement any longer.

Arch noticed his Master's excitement and smiled. He was the same as Damian when he got to choose his first Class-[Cyber Monarch]-at his level.

'Perhaps Master will get a S rank Class too?' Arch thought to himself as he directed Damian's attention to the amethyst crystal ball in the middle of the table.

"That will help you assign your Class, Master," Arch explained. "Before you ask, it is called a [Class Orb] and even by this dimensions standards, it is indestructible."

Damian didn't bother responding as he quickly touched the crystal ball-making a System Prompt appear in his vision.

Damian could tell the random class unlock ticket vanished from his [Inventory] and he couldn't get it back. His attention stayed on the roulette wheel which appeared in his vision as it spun.

He was worried about getting a trash rank for his first Class since he didn't want to be too weak in two months when the blockade was set to begin...

Damian was pulled out of the crystal ball and back into his body where he quickly felt a deep sense of exhaustion crash over every cell in his body. He couldn't process what had just happened to him at all-leaving him speechless-as Arch noticed everything Damian was going through.

The AI knew Damian's body was exhausted as if the class he got was insanely heavy in terms of powerful abilities and responsibility, but some classes held too much providence to be wielded by a Level 2 [Human]. Those kinds of classes were so great that they'd forcibly evolve their wielders and take up significant space on their soul-severely unbalancing them in the long run. Arch decided to help out Damian-who was still speechless-by calmly putting him in the medical bay.

'Master needs to sleep while his body acclimated to his new Class. While he does, I will help him prepare for the blockade of Naboo. I just hope it won't take him too long to adjust,' Arch thought as he began to use his skills on the HoloNet to acquire a significant amount of information about the events that were about to transpire. 'It wouldn't do if he was out for the two months he had to prepare. I surmise he would need to be at least level ten or higher to have an above 100 percent chance of survival, but I can further increase that chance if I can prepare a weapon for him. By the information I have of this dimension, the strongest type of weapon used is a "lightsaber" made of some kind of crystal technology. This weapon seems to have multiple designs and constructed out of different materials, but I am relatively sure the ship has sufficient materials to construct some variants. Perhaps while Master is out, I should begin designing the weapon? The only thing I know this ship does not have is the required crystal type. Maybe Master does, but I shouldn't wake him up just for this.'

It was there that Arch pulled up a holographic design program and began designing two lightsabers for Damian. Unbeknownst to either of them, Damian's body began to be tempered by the massive Providence of his Class-slowly reaching the next realm of cultivation.
