Chapter 74: Night terror on a plane
[Singapore airport.]
Blake brought Jemisha, Chris and Jake to the airport.
Before Chris and Jemisha checked in they went to send Jake off first.
'Give this to Iris.'
Jemisha gave him a laptop, 'With this I can check her homework wherever I am but make sure she doesn't take it to school.'
Jake patted her head "Stay save baby sister, and I see you in a few days"
Jemisha hugged him 'Tell Iris I will visit her soon.'
Jake went to his gate.
Chris and Jemisha checked in and they boarded the plane and sat down.
During their flight they both worked a bit and they watched a movie together.
The flight attended came by and asked if there was anything they needed 'A bed would be nice', she joked.
The flight attended laughed and brought over a pillow and a blanked.
Chris adjusted Jemisha's chair and folded up the arm rest that was in-between them.
"Well it's not a bed but it has to do."
Jemisha rested her head on his chest and fell asleep.
He stroke her hair and also slowly started to doze off.
During the night Jemisha woke up in a fright
Chris was already awake because she was restless.
"It's alright, we're still on the plane."
Jemisha calmed down and Chris asked the flight attended to bring over a bottle of water.
Chris took it and thanked the women.
"Here drink this."
Jemisha took a sip
"Did you have a nightmare."
'Hmm, I dreamed that I was attacked and stabbed again.'
"Killian is dead, and Harvey has severely punched his gang members, they won't dare to come near you."
She closed her eyes again and listen to the calm heartbeat of Chris and started to doze off again and so did Chris.
It was two hours before landing and the flight attended woke up Chris telling him they will land in 2 hours.
Chris nodded but he let Jemisha sleep for one more hour.
After an hour Chris started to wake her up and she slowly opened her eyes.
'What time is it?'
"It's eleven in the morning and we will be landing in an hour."
Jemisha got up and went to the toilet and freshet herself up a bit, when she came back there was a cup of coffee and breakfast waiting for her.
She sat down and ate hear breakfast.
When they were done the pilot announced that they were going to land in half an hour and that everybody needed to fold their tables and set their chairs straight and put their seat belt on.
When they were out of off the plain and went through all the check points Jemisha pointed at a big man standing.
'Is that big guy over there Diego?'
Chris looked in the direction and nodded.
Jemisha walked up to the man and hugged him, the man was in shock.
She took his hand and put it on her head.
'Chris he is like Gunner, but he has a different vibe than Gunner.'
Chris laughed because of how frozen Diego was and by Jemisha's words.
She then hugged and nuzzled Diego.
"Te advertí que sería así. No te preocupes, ella piensa que eres un gran osito de peluche."
"Rose I think you scared Diego a bit."
Jemisha looked at the man
'Lo siento, soy Black Rose y gran jefa del Ocelote.'
"¿Puedes hablar Española?"
'Sí, también puedo hablar inglés, italiano, malayo y algo de alemán.'
The man looked at her in surprise.
Diego took her suit case and the 3 of them went to the car, while Diego was loading up the car,
Chris texted his father they would be arriving in an hour.
As they were driving Jemisha took in the surroundings and found the city lively, when they got out of the city the scenery changed and it was beautiful.
'Chris when we fixed the problem in your fathers company, let's go house hunting.'
"But you own 10 properties already, do you need more?"
'Well true, but you can never have enough hiding spots.'
'And before you ask, the security system I will place, Blake will have no access to it, because it's brand new. '
"Then how do we know when you are in danger?"
Jemisha smiled, 'When I'm done tweaking it, it will send a message with footage to everybody of the Ocelot gang, and you so…'
Diego looked at Jemisha stunned.
"Jefa Rose que rica eres?"
'Mi riqueza supera a Harvey Argenti y Black Jack, aunque la combinen yo tengo todavia tengo mas dinero ellos.'
Diego jaw dropped, their 19 year old boss was worth more than two kings of the underworld.
After 15 more minuts, Chris and Jemisha arrived at his parents and Diego told them a group of men were in the neighborhood and gave them the address, he then drove off.
Jemisha was standing infront of the door and was getting nervous.
"Are you nervous?"
She nodded and took Chris hand.
"Well don't worry, my parents are also nervous, so you 3 can be nervous together."
'But what if they don't like me?'
"Rose while this is your first time meeting them, they have seen your picture and they know what you have done. I'm certain that they will like you."
"Now take a deep breath, everything will be fine."
