I wanted to let you know that I haven't updated in a while because I've been busy re-editing everything. The story won't change its current course, BUUUT I've changed the prologue and many other details that didn't really convince me. I'll be back SOON with a SUPER improved version of SELFDOM. I'm proud of how it's turning out, so I hope you like it too!

After an accident during a trip with her friends, Itziar awoke on a mysterious island deep in a rainforest full of fearsome beasts.
Her memories were chaotic. She didn't know who she was or how she had ended up there, but even though she remembered little, she instinctively knew that something was different about her.

The presence of a strange system bombarding her with notifications only added to her feeling of surrealism.
Determined to escape the rainforest and regain her memory, she encounters a group of humans with strange magical powers and decides to make a deal with them.
However, behind the seductive and harmless appearances of the people around her, lurked perverse desires and dark ambitions.
Soon, the human race will prove to be the real threat to her very existence.

Or perhaps, returning to its original state.
A human with extraordinary powers, a beast wearing human skin, or simply a monstrosity glorified as a goddess on an altar forged in blood.
The closer she got to the truth, the more she longed to bury it, and at the same time, the more compelled Itziar was to unravel her connection to this world in order to stop the cruel gears of a tragedy that had been paused for thousands of years.

The writing quality is amazing! Each paragraph draws me into the story and I can feel and see the same as them, as if I were living in the moment. The pacing may be kinda slow for some, but it's perfect for me because the author explains more about the world background in a way it doesn't feel hard to keep up. The descriptions are wonderful! I'm a fan of the little lezaali!
Very, very good writing and supper detailed description that make the characters look alive and very different from each other or any generic character you might expect. Would recommend :]
I'm going to be shameless and give myself a review, which I will surely delete when someone else writes another. This novel has a lot of my effort, weeks of investigation to be able to bring to life each of the characters and the world where they live. I am very detailed and a perfectionist when it comes to my writing, but I hope you like it. The romance is slow, but I'm sure you will enjoy the disasters that our FL will create wherever she goes, because she is like that, a kind troublemaker lol. And for the ML... I'll let you rack your brains wondering who he is hahaha!

I came all the way here following this author and was so happy to know she got what she deserves! So I made and acc just to read this novel so never drop it! I'm supporting you wholeheartedly! Character's design, story development, world background, writing quality, all are top-notch! You won't regret reading this masterpiece, believe me and give it a try! The FL won't disappoint you, and here the side-characters feel alive, not just like filling a role and fading in the bg later. I'm waiting everyday only to read this!
Well-rounded and fully dimensional characters. Every trait of their personalities has a motive behind it, and they don't act one way for the sake of it! Even the descriptions are varied and the characters feel alive, showing us that everyone is not perfect but there's beauty in their differences. You will love some and hate some, so it shows how well they were made. The author takes time to introduce to the world background in a perfect way, so it doesn't feel like those stories where the whole chapter is a lot of information where one cannot keep up and the ends up skipping it. I like the FL so far, she's sassy and doesn't mince her words. I can't wait for the ML to show up!

The story sounds great, like silent sweet torture, I like it. The synopsis is awesome and piques interest, I haven't yet read the story but I assure you that I will comment per chapter when I begin to read it. All the best dear writer.
Out of all the fantasy novel's I've read so far, none of them contained this much immense amount of creativity and world building. The language skills are perfect as everything has been described so pitch perfectly. The author sure has done his research thoroughly before starting this novel as literally there's so much happening in every single chapter. Although I wish if author could describe the character's personality a bit more, ig it's still okay since this is a fantasy genre(?) I may not be very good at English, but I can tell there were hardly any grammatical mistakes and since the author seems so fluent in English, it gets very easy to imagine the scenes playing in my imagination smoothly as well. I don't know if this is true or not, but being a moderate English speaker, like many readers on this platform, I think having a easy vocabulary might help you as well as readers a lot since otherwise it might break the flow of reading. It can sometimes get overwhelming you know? Atleast for some. With that aside, I wish the author all the best for this novel to succeed since trust me, it really has a great potential in it. Keep writing with all honesty

The characters are well put together, they have defined personalities and the effort put behind each one is noticeable. They stay true to their personality and I like that. The world is nicely explained and structured, and the creatures so far are impressive. Each chapter will surprise since you won't be able to predict what will happen next! Plus the author likes to drop new plot clues in unexpected places, so stay tuned!
I can count the actual reviews I’ve left on one hand. This story has captured my interest enough to leave some words behind. The main character is amazing and the writing is smooth, lovely to read, and makes me smile. Thank you author for sharing your gift with the bibliophiles of this app.
