Risna turned to her sister to confirm if she too was having the same auditory illusions, and sure enough, Ravin had the same dazed expression as her.

"W-what the hell is going on?" Ravin stammered, patting her cheeks and checking her ears.

At that moment, Risna saw something.

"Wait, stay still," she ordered, holding tightly to her younger sister's ear.

"Auch, auch, auch, with love, please, I'm fragile."

In response, Risna tugged harder and her sister fell silent or she would lose her ear.

Upon closer inspection, a faint pink pattern spread across the earlobe, up through the cartilage to the back.

The lines were delicate and subtle, so unless you paid attention you wouldn't notice it, though up close the pattern was much more visible.
