Chapter 58: James can't be king

  Ares walked out of Reynolds' room with a frown. If it were back in the day, he wouldn't have cared if James became King but after Finding out everything James has done especially to women and if he became king then there was no stopping him anymore.

  Ares sighed as he stood in front of the King's chambers. He hasn't been here since he was 10 years old. After his mother died, he stopped visiting the king.

  He took a deep breath before knocking on the door.

  "Come in" He furrowed his eyebrows at how weak the King's voice sounded. He opened the door slowly then walked in.

  "Father" Ares murmured as he walked towards bed. The King smiled at him.

  "I didn't expect you to come this soon. I'm sorry I can't get up, I'm a little tired" Even though Ares has told himself he didn't want anything to do with this man, it still gave him an uncomfortable feeling in his chest to see him this way.
