Chapter 8: Consultation.

After getting the serious blow, Jack lies groveling on the floor with his hands on the downstairs region. "Ah..hooooo... ah ....hooooo" He started to moan really badly fom the excruciating pain.

"Ouch...that much hurt.."

"Um..yeah. I can relate to it.."

Both Victor and Josh let out condolences as they were eavesdropping on the conversation the entire time.

Yumeko quickly wraps the red scarf around her neck and grabs her crumpled-up letters from the floor.

"You don't deserve them," She said in tenor while giving a narrowed eye towards Jack who is groveling on the floor in pain.

"Is it over already?" Victor asked as he tries to hear any form of noise from the room by kneeling his ears hard against the door.

"I don't know..but maybe," Josh replied by doing the same.

Suddenly the door swings wide open and pushes Josh and Victor down on the ground.

As Yumeko walks out, She removes her hairpin and then throws it at Victor's face.

"Ouch!" Victor exclaimed in pain, as the hairpin lands on his forehead.

Then, Yumeko in her furious mood stomped inside the carriage.

Charice who was waiting beside the carriage didn't utter any word. He simply bowed to welcome his princess back and then jumped on the driver's seat.

In a silent stature, the royal carriage rides out on the empty road leading towards the castle while Josh and Victor were left in shock at the event that just occurred in front of them.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

As the royal carriage rides down the empty forest road on the two galloping horses, Charice becomes hesitant to speak out to the sulking princess who is sitting quietly inside the carriage.

<I may be considered an intruder to lend out an ear..but....>

Narrator: Charice finds himself in a dilemma whether he should give some emotional support or not. He feels like, intruding into something personal as relationship is kind of a pushover for a butler-like him.

"Sigh... Princess. I may not be the best person to talk about this stuff privately but... I'm willing to hear out all your problems." Charice slowly speaks while he keeps his eyes on the road <For a little girl, it must be too hard on her to experience the first breakup. Maybe letting her speak some of it should ease her worry.>

Narrator: A notice, Charice has never been in a relationship. he is still single.

But Yumeko didn't reply.

"Maybe I was a little pushover there?" Charice thought.

"hey, Charice...." A sobering voice slowly comes out from the carriage.

<Hmm, did she say something? The sound of the galloping is making me hard to hear...maybe I should slow down the ride a bit. We are close to the castle anyway.> "Yes, princess. Forgive me but did you happen to say something before."

"Can you tell me why I have to go through all these.." Inside the carriage, Princess Yumeko breaks down into pearls of tears. Under the moonlight, her little face shoves down and lets the tears fall freely from her gorgeous blue eyes into the grown.

"I was really looking forward to today...I wanted to impress him with this gown I made just for today... Nor did he ask me who made it but he didn't even bother to comment even the tiniest thing about my dress.." saying that Yumeko grips her gown tightly and continues to bawl down.

Charice silently listens to the venting wholeheartedly without making any judgment.

" And My dad...is never proud of me. No matter how many times I show him the results be in my piano class or dance. He always finds a way to show error in my ways..." Yumeko struggles to swallow the emotion she has been holding pours out in the form of tears.

"and today he shout at me... saying he doesn't want me anymore...What have I done to deserve these?? I just don't want to live anymore! Why do I have to go through all these sufferings!?"

Yumeko slaps her face and weeps down whole-heartedly as she no longer continues to hold herself down.

Charice who has been listening quietly up till now decides to speak out. "Princess, this might sound unpatronizing but you prioritize your boyfriend..cough...I mean your Ex..over yourself.<I can say these because every day I am the one who keeps on delivering messages to him lying to everyone I'm going to an official duty somewhere, but thankfully is over now.>

"I suggest you take care of yourself before everything and give some more time to something you like, such as your favorite hobby, sewing. As for your dad, he expects more from you, princess. He wants you to do better and work better. But I can assure you he is concerned about you."

"Didn't you hear anything I said? What kind of concerned father would say to his daughter....is better she don't exist. Don't act like you know everything, Charice! So shut up!" Yumeko rages out.

<Eh...did I say something wrong. My, my, dealing with spoiled brats is not my forte.> "as you wish, princess." saying that Charice puts a calm composure and decides to focus on the reins instead since they are about to enter the castle gate.

As the carriage stop, Yumeko slowly steps out with a long face. The castle was still luminous from all the fancy decorations and huge bulbs for the princess's birthday.

Without saying anything she makes her way inside the castle.

"Good night Princess Yumeko. Please have a good rest." Charice places his hand near his left shoulder and sees the princess off.

"now then I have to go to his majesty and give an update regarding that situation. Sigh... today is going to be a long night for me."
