Chapter 33: To the capital!!

Zuni really had tears in her eyes. Among all the brothers, Long Lei spoiled her the most. He would always give in to her antics. She was so emotional at the moment that her voice choked. "She took five years to come out of the shell. Be nice to her, dude, " Long Lei glared at him. "Go easy on her. Please. Don't be like Zian!"

In Long Lei's eyes, Zuni was still the little girl who would run after him yelling Gege. She would act cute with him just to get sweets.

"What's going on here?" Long Yuan, their father asked. He looked as if he was just woken up from sleep.

"Dad, why are you here too?" Long Lei groaned. "Don't you have a huge ass house here?"

Long Yuan rolled his eyes. "I am single and old. I need the company of my children. If you all stay with me at my house, I won't have to stay here. Who were you scolding, Xav?"

"Zuni, who else!" Xavier scoffed. "She is twenty-eight and still can't get her a bit together."

Long Yuan threw his slipper at Xavier's head. "Be nice to your sister! If she asks you for stars, get her! End of topic."

Xavier looked at his twin who had a look of gloating on his face.

"Dad, I'm going to the capital for some personal work, "Long Lei announced. "I will go to meet Elder uncle and Aunt too. Don't worry."

"See your mom too, " Long Yuan said with a sigh.

Long Lei sighed. "Last time, she got offended that I came to meet her unannounced. I don't think her new family will appreciate my presence at her house."

Long Lei didn't want to disturb his mother, Liu Shishi and her big career in the capital. She was a big celebrity there and he just wanted to avoid her as much as possible.

Moreover, his mother's new daughter Liu Jingjing, he didn't have the patience to deal with her snotty attitude. Liu Jingjing never failed to tell the Long twins that they had no place in Liu Shishi's life.
