Chapter 141: Differences

After talking for a few minutes with Zuni, Mira transferred her attention back to the man sitting in the backseat of the car. She began asking him a lot of questions and the man was patiently answering her even though it appeared that he was not a man of many words. 

"Are you here on a business trip?" Mira questioned. 

"I'm not in the same line of work as my cousin, "He answered. 

"You didn't tell me what you do for a living, "Mira said after a while. 

"I'm a soldier, "he answered and Zuni pressed on the brakes in the middle of the road. Even Mira turned to look at him in horror. 

"Is something wrong?" The man questioned the two ladies who were staring at him in a dramatic manner. 

"You got involved with a soldier?" Zuni questioned Mira. 

"I didn't big bro's cousin was a soldier, "Mira mumbled in self-defence.
