If I Shall Ever Break

The "Red Ring of Death," also commonly called the "Devil's Halo" is something that is given to those that have committed disgusting crimes. Though it is only merely a terrible legend, a myth, something that hasn't actually been seen by the human eye yet, that is, until 17 yr old Youhei Kouseki comes across a 15 yr old girl donning one herself. Refusing to have her name told, she calls herself GirlX. Curious about the mysterious girl, Kouhei decides to try & figure & out why she has the "Devil's Halo" but the reason is shocking!

Being the first real human that is both able to see the Devil's Ring as well as the person wearing it makes him special though, not necessarily in a good way...
