Chapter 328: 10 Stars
This feeling of returning to her natural, true self, Xu Yue feel as though she had finally been liberated from layers upon layers of shackles, causing her to faintly smile.
Only a few moments later though, new shackles suddenly appeared, slightly binding Xu Yue, causing her to faintly frown as she stared at the eye of the Heavenly Dao, which had appeared above her at an unknown moment in time.
Unlike in the past, as she stared at the Heavenly Dao, Xu Yue no longer felt as though she was staring at something incomprehensibly powerful, instead, she knew that if she wanted to, she could actually fight with the Heavenly Dao.
Although Xu Yue's intuition warned her that such a battle would likely lead to her premature demise, Xu Yue no longer held any fear for the Heavenly Dao.
Seeing the look on Xu Yue's face, a slightly playful look appeared on the eye of the Heavenly Dao, causing another gaze to suddenly land on Xu Yue.
Even though that gaze only rested on Xu Yue for just a fraction of a second, it still caused her face to become slightly pale.
"Don't worry, I understand my limits, I was just playing around a bit," said Xu Yue as she stared at the eyes of the Heavenly Dao causing the latter to disappear a moment later.
Although Xu Yue didn't like restrictions being placed upon her, she also knew that it was best not to push her luck, as the only restriction placed on her was related to the amount of time she could stay in the Lower Realm, 3000 years.
Now that the Heavenly Dao was gone, Xu Yue couldn't help but turn her attention to the other 2 things that needed to be addressed at the moment.
Firstly, and most urgently were the Ancient God stars on Xu Yue's forehead, which currently had hundreds of crack going through each one of them.
"Since my cultivation has broken through, I guess a breakthrough of this sort is to be expected," thought Xu Yue as she suddenly stopped resisting this breakthrough of hers.
The moment Xu Yue did so, all 9 Ancient God Stars on Xu Yue's forehead suddenly shattered, sending waves through the Ancient God Bloodline in Xu Yue's body, which was already boiling thanks to the power of the Boundless Dao, which had already breached the gap between Mortal and Immortal.
At the moment, the Ancient God bloodline inside of Xu Yue's body seemed to gain a mind of its own once again, and began using its new power to suddenly begin devouring everything else present within Xu Yue's body, causing a new set of stars to slowly begin forming on Xu Yue's forehead.
Unlike before though, this time, thanks to the sheer power of Xu Yue's Boundless Dao, which fit nearly perfectly with the Ancient God Bloodline, the bloodline no longer held anything back, and began completely pushing out all that was left of Xu Yue's humanity.
Although humans were adaptable, in front of the extremely tyrannical Ancient God bloodline that was making waves through her body, Xu Yue's humanity could no longer resist, and finally cracked into pieces, which were then ejected out of Xu Yue's body, forming a small sphere in front of her.
Right now though, Xu Yue had no time to care about the small sphere very much, as she finally finished the transformation she was waiting for all this time.
In just a few moments, the effects of Xu Yue becoming a True Ancient God showed itself, as 9 Gold Stars formed itself on Xu Yue's forehead in just a few moments, more perfect than the previous stars, causing Xu Yue's body to suddenly grow over 10 percent larger in just a moment.
As soon as the 9 Stars fully formed and stabilized, the next step of Xu Yue's transformation finally began, as he True Immortal Cultivation Base finally began playing its effects upon her fleshly body, causing an extremely transparent, yet till visible 10th star to appear on Xu Yue's forehead.
The moment the 10th star appeared, an enormous cocoon suddenly enveloped Xu Yue's already enormous body in just a few moments.
Immediately after fully enveloping the body of the fledgling True Immortal, the cocoon around Xu Yue began growing larger, and larger, and larger.
In just under a day, the cocoon that enveloped Xu Yue grew over 50 percent larger, causing Xu Yue's aura, which she had been restraining up until now, to suddenly begin leaking from it in small amounts.
Then, day by day, Xu Yue's cocoon continued growing and growing larger and larger, as did Xu Yue's body inside of it.
By the time 50 years had passed since Xu Yue's breakthrough, the cocoon was already over 30 times larger than it had originally been, being as visible as the moon itself in the night sky in some regions.
In the end, it took the cocoon over 250 years to stop growing, having stopped after it had become over 100 times larger than it had originally been, causing it to be visible even in daytime, causing the news of the ascendance of a new True Immortal to spread throughout the entirety of the Three Thousand Regions.
After that, the cocoon stood silent, for over fifty years.

As he stared at the starry sky above him, which was brightened by the moon, as well as the huge cocoon that was currently dwarfing it, Dai Jie couldn't help but take out his jug of wine.
But just as Dai Jie was about to take a gulp of wine, he suddenly froze in his tracks, still staring at the cocoon above, as well as at the huge crack that appeared on it.
A moment later, every single being in the Three Thousand Regions who was currently awake suddenly looked up at the sky, where a hand had suddenly emerged from the cocoon, causing a monstrous aura to fall down onto the Three Thousand Regions.
Although that being was not even in the Three Thousand Regions itself, as soon as its hand broke out of its cocoon, its aura arrived onto the world below it, causing mortals to breathe heavily even though the aura had been already weakened an unknown amount of times.
A moment after that, the cocoon suddenly shattered to pieces, revealing a female figure, staring down at Heaven and Earth.
