The disciple starts to walk back into the forest, near where my body hid.
At the right moment, I jump out and grab his dagger, unsheathing it to a thrust at the disciple's neck.

I slashed a cut into his neck as he jumped back in time.
A floating "-70" in red appears after the attack, which slowly diminishes into nothing.

He grasps his neck as blood flows down.
In between his robes, he draws a sword out.
The cut wasn't deep enough.
I regain control of my body as I step back to avoid a horizontal slash, the sword tears one light wound across my chest.

"Uck..." The wound at the neck causes the disciple to trudge a little. His movements become stiff.
I take a deep breath and compose my beating heart. At one time in my life, my father did try to train me in martial arts before realising how hopeless it was, my father was a cultivator and he died 1 year ago.

Both men nod and follow the subordinate to the disciple's corpse.

One of the prominent men pulls off the mask on his head to reveal a middle-aged man with a pointy black beard, he squats to examine the body.
"He was ambushed."
The second prominent man touches the corpse. "It's clear, the blood worm in his body is still alive. He didn't disclose anything about the sect."
"Good. Take the body with us, we are returning to the sect."
The two are Huang Yi Heng and Li Chen Fan, captains of two squads in the Blood Sect.
"Sir Chen Fan, what about the killer?" The subordinate asks the man with the pointy black beard.
"Leave it. Our mission is to clean up after the main squad." Says Chen Fan.
All swiftly left the area after.
At the same time, the Wulin Alliance has made their move to the main capital of Tian Zhu, the country where Xie Mo resides in.
"Find any signs of demonic energy thoroughly!" a huge man shouts in a white robe.
Every practitioner of the justice faction rapidly scrutinizes every single household and people, attempting to find the hidden demonic cultivator who tried to poison the current emperor.
"Chief Yang! I found a passageway under the cabinet of the brothel pavilion!" a practitioner reports.
The chief, Yang Hao, turns his attention to the man and they quickly go to the scene. "Shit...Everyone! search the outskirts of the capital! That demon has escaped!!" Says Yang Hao.
"Yes!"
As they leave, a woman at the corner of the pavilion blends in with the bystanders. She smirks at the foolish practitioners.
