"Are you sure about your decision? You have to know that if you continue to behave this way, you will offend my Azure Sky Sect!" the Grand Elder asked in a cold tone, seemingly disregarding everyone in the auction hall, including the Dancing Nymph House.
"Grand Elder! Control yourself! Although your sect is strong it is not invincible! Do not forget your place in the Myriad Dragon Country!"
Before Mei Yue could speak, Li Huang beat him to the punch as she shouted toward the Azure Sky Sect private booth.
Everyone became dumbfounded by Li Haung's words, as no one expected her to blow up like this. Though she wasn't wrong the Grand Elder's words angered many people in the crowd by not showing them any face either.
So many started supporting Li Huang out loud.
Li Huang's remark shot an arrow that directly hit the heart of the Grand Elder Zhong Qiao.
This caused Grand Elder to stand up from his seat in a fit of rage and was about to curse at Li Huang and Mei Yue when Zhang Hu held him back.
"Master let's bid first. We will see her after she comes out from the auction house, and we can't touch a hair on miss Li Huang." Zhang Hu said to his master.
Grand Elder let out a snort before returning to his seat, as Zhang Hu continued his bidding.
"2,200!"
"2,300"
Mei Yue didn't wait and instantly raised the bid.
"2,500!"
"2,600"
"2,700!!"
Mei Yue didn't bid anymore.
Seeing that no one was bidding anymore Li Huang began the countdown.
"2,700 going once!"
"Going twice!"
"Going thr-"
"2,900" Mei Yue bid at the last moment interrupting Li Huang.
"You!" An enraged Zhang Hu's voice could be heard, inside Zhang Hu's booth he stood up in a fit of rage as he felt the other person did that in spite. Causing Zhang Hu to almost vomit blood.
Zhang Hu took a few deep breaths to calm down.
"3,000" Zhang Hu said in an icy tone.
...
Silence...
After Zhang Hu's bid, no one bid anymore.
After a few seconds...
"Congratulations, Grand Elder Zhong Qiao for obtaining these spirit crystals." Li Huang exclaimed with a bright smile as if nothing happened.
"Let us continue with our second batch of spirit crystals," Li Huang continued as another batch was brought out.
Soon the second batch of spirit crystals was sold for 2,800 gold coins by the City Lord of Red Star City.
The third batch was again bought by Grand Elder Zhong Qiao of the Azure Sky Sect for 3,000 gold coins once more.
The fourth batch was bought by a rogue cultivator for 3,100 gold coins.
The fifth and sixth batch was sold for 3,200, and 3,300 gold coins respectively.
Seventh, Eighth, and Ninth batches of spirit crystals were sold for 3,500 gold coins, 3,700 gold coins, and 3,800 gold coins each.
And lastly, the tenth batch of spirit crystals was once again bought by the Grand Elder Zhong Qiao of the Azure Sky Sect for 4,000 gold coins.
Last nine batches of spirit crystals, all sold for more gold coins than the last one, one by one. 3 batches of spirit crystals were taken away by the Grand Elder while the rest were sold to other powerhouses.
In total, Mei Yue had accumulated 33,400 gold coins.
33,400 gold coins from the auction plus 17,000 from Fang Jingfei had left Mei Yue with a gross influx of around 50,400 gold coins.

As Mei Yue was in his own thoughts he heard a knocking sound.
"Come in" Mei Yue said calmly as he knew who it was.
Soon Zhang Bolin entered the room with her head down and in her hands was a neatly folded cloak.
Mei Yue stood up and walked towards Zhang Bolin which seemed to startle her as she timidly backed away before stopping just before a wall.
Mei Yue didn't mind as he simply took the cloak from her hands.
"Thank you miss Bolin." Mei Yue said as he put the cloak away and exited the room ignoring the slightly panting Zhang Bolin who seemed to be lost in her fantasies.
Since the auction was over, Mei Yue followed the path to the counter, before stopping just in front of it.
He then gave another attendant his token which was proof of his purchase of the Mystic Fruit.
Just as the attendant was about to give him the Mystic Fruit, manager Fang Jingfei came.
Seeing manager Fang Jingfei appear the attendant greeted him.
"Give our guest the thing she bought." Manager Fang Jingfei nodded and said to the attendant.
"Understood."
"Here is the Mystic Fruit, it is a total of 3000 gold coins."
"I'll take it from here, you may leave." Fang Jingfei said to the attendant before turning to Mei Yue.
"Hehe, Guest here is a total of 27,060 gold coins. After cutting the 10% interest that the auction takes plus the 3,000 gold coins that you bought Mystic Fruit with." Fang Jingfei said to Mei Yue while giving him a bag full of gold coins.
Mei Yue didn't count the pouch as he put it inside the nine-story pagoda.
'Spatial Ring!' Fang Jingfei exclaimed in his mind. He must have been shocked by the sudden spirit crystals that he completely forgot how Mei Yue suddenly took them out earlier.
This caused his eyes to light up like a Christmas tree.
The theory he had earlier with the other elders about Mei Yue coming across a ruin solidified inside his mind.
"May I know the Guest's name?" Fang Jingfei asked with a polite smile.
Mei Yue almost let out a demonic laugh in delight.
"You may call me Apollo."
Mei Yue had already seen the light in his eyes which is why he wanted to laugh, his bait of using the spirit crystals succeded, meaning the greed in his heart took over his rationality. Giving the perfect opportunity for Mei Yue to kill and devour them, in order to increase his strength.
Without any more words, Mei Yue left towards the auction's entrance as he put the cloak over his body hiding his appearance including his bright white hair.
'Don't disappoint me Fang Jingfei...' Mei Yue thought sinisterly as he exited the auction house.
As soon as Mei Yue was about to leave the area towards his inn his gaze suddenly landed on his former 'sect members'.
One was Zhang Hu and the other was Zhang Hu's master, the Grand Elder of the Azure Sky Sect, Zhong Qiao.
"Enemies, some people are meant to cross our path in life but they are not meant to accompany us to the final destination, and you Zhang Hu will die at my hands soon. If that damn Zhong Qiao was not present, I would have killed Zhang Hu by tonight." Mei Yue sighed in annoyance.
He then shifted his gaze towards Zhang Hu once more as his eyes narrowed, 'Profound Spirit Realm... I wonder how big his arrogance is now. I bet he thinks he could place in the top ten at the five great sects competition now.
Mei Yue then noticed that it seemed that they were waiting for someone and made the connection that the person they were waiting for was him.
Mei Yue smiled in disdain as he took a detour and arrived at his inn.
Arriving at his room he locked the door and sat down on the floor before taking out the Mystic Fruit and swallowing it.
"Hopefully this can help me break through into Profound Spirit Realm. When that happens, I can ensure my safety even more as well as take a step closer to my revenge on Azure Sky Sect."
"Then I also have to go to the Monarch City and find a backer."
Though Mei Yue still needed to increase his strength no matter what.
Just when the Mystic Fruit entered his stomach, a sudden surge of energy came out from it and entered every single pore in Mei Yue's body.
