" Your green tea , young master "
Aini the maidservant approached the young men sitting in the balcony putting the decorative hot cup of tea infront of one of them specifically .
" I told you that i want nothing to drink , didn't i ? Are you unable to understand even simple words ? "
His stiff expressions and cold voice made her to sigh " It's the lady's order , young master "
Mentioning lillian he straightened up looking upon the cup with no expression " you can go .. " mumbled with annoyed voice and aini hurried out of the balcony .
" I see that even two years of marriage are not enough to lessen your passion towards her . "
Casper giggled knowing jade he would've scolded the maidservant even more without backing , looking so uncomfortable jade glanced at casper with annoyance " it's not like this is your business "
After one hour of awkwardness the men finally went to their houses and light quick steps could be heard down the stairs .
Lillian sprung down the stairs with her long honey hair dancing behind her back with each movement , seeing her getting closer he acted as if he was tired immediately .
" jade jordon ! I thought i told you to be nice ! "
She stood in front of him with crossed arms and her ocean eyes examined him sharply , letting out a tired sigh jade glanced at her with innocent eyes .
" you think you can fool me ? " raising her eyebrows she sat beside him slapping his thigh " come on , i told you that i refused meeting with them " he pouted sweetly and as planned her expressions soothed after a second
While aini stood in the back with bored expressions , jade is a total bastard with everyone except for lillian , on the other hand That was reliefing she didn't want her young lady to suffer an unhappy marriage as it is
As the sun was striking his hazel eyes shining from the huge glass wall viewing the garden behind them lillian brushed his hair to the back with gentle hands " are you feeling alright ? You spent quite a time outside it may be bad for you " she decided to put his attitude toward his friends aside and asked worriedly
" I'm fine , quite a strong man like me won't be affected with just an hour in the sun " while he smiled widely she knew he was lying .
Jade was her friend since they were young , being sick since he was born his family treated him as a burden , whenever he got ill they glanced at him as if they were waiting his death . Jade grew up keeping his fatigue and illnesses away from everyone
" why don't you make me a cup of hot chocolate ? I feel like drinking it " he was obviously tired and having a trouble breathing but he pinched her cheeks making his voice as cheerful as possible .
Having a weak heart is a curse and as he grew older his heart grew weaker , any simple form of effort makes him tired and if he went out of his way to do something new he could fall with fever or in worse cases a heart attack
Lillian stood up examning her husband carefully then sighed " i would be going to my lessons tomorrow i don't want to leave you sick alone in the house "
" have no worries , i'd do my best not falling sick by then " his gradual change of expression made her scowl " jade , you know i'll leave my lessons gladly for you . I am simply worried about you "
He did not reply and kept staring at her , he told her million of times that he would hate her leaving her lessons for him , but who is he for his words to be taken into consideration .
She left after hesitating whether to explain further to him what she feels , knowing him he would never listen or be convinced in the time being .
" desmond please watch over him closely , just don't tell him i asked you " she asked the servant nicely heading to the kitchen with aini .
They lived in a medium sized house but luxurious one , lillian belonged to one of the most aristrocratic families in zwedenia same as jade .
As jade's family never willed to help or provide their son with anything except for the house it was lillian's family who brought everything even the maids and guards .
" my lady , you argued again ? " aini asked nervously standing beside lillian who started immediately making the hot chocolate , she was used to making it to him often .
" not really , don't worry yourself aini just one kiss and he would even apologize for being stubborn " she chuckled and aini smiled , well her lady wasn't wrong
Jade gets upset over everything but not long before he goes to lillian asking for forgiveness even if he's not wrong
The kitchen was very warm and cozy having the sun shine through every corner of it and lillian looked heartwarming with her white long dress and golden straps around her waist , the dress was light and refreshing in the summer it made her look so soothing and heartwarming
Lillian had a sharp blue eyes and kind of pale skin , who didn't know her would think she belonged to the mean side , but actually lillian was a nice , understanding person
She was not a weak girl , lillian always had an outstanding personality since her childhood but she was never mean .

Their hands touched lightly not moving jade kept his eyes focused at lillian's , her fingers got to his cheeks sensing his warm skin calmly
Jade apologized yesterday as she thought , and now she was supposed to head to her lessons but she had to make sure he was okay before leaving and somehow ended up sitting on the sofa with him kissing his cheek lightly
His heart beat fastened and he cursed leaning for another kiss but got pushed instead
" no kisses , you're aware of that " his puzzled face turned to a sad one really fast and she chuckled
" sometimes i feel like you enjoy that , you witch " he glanced at her with fake anger and she just waved at him heading outside
Who knows maybe she would've changed her mind and returned for the kiss if she stayed longer

She got off the carriage , her ankle length blue dress shined in the sunlight and headed to the huge castle like house infront of her
Passing through the long shining ceramic hall she headed to the garden the maids guiding her to where the lessons are usually held
Mister Johnathan liked having their lessons in an opened refreshing area so he would always hold his lessons in his big well maintained garden
A crowd of young women were chatting and gathered around someone in the middle , she passed them sitting on the cherry wooden chair while her eyes stuck on the little crowd
" poor young man " whispering to herself she knew who were in the middle of this crowd
It was Emil Anreax being suffocated by young women as always
" the man looks like fainting any moment , don't they have any pride ? " aini who just arrived beside her young lady after bringing her books exclaimed in surprise
" you know the man is from a very powerful family they are totally looking for his fortune " lillian glanced at the man with pitiful eyes just about when he locked eyes with her
They kept the eye contact for a while and lillian didn't understand what he wanted " umm young lady i think he is asking for help "
And as the good person she is who likes meddling in people's business she stood approaching the little crowd
" Mister Emil , someone is calling for you outside " it was an obvious lie but she tried while smiling her best " of course , sorry young ladies i hope you can execuse me " he slid from between them heading immediately towards the door as if he's running.
" who is calling for him ? Aren't you sure that you're just wanting to take him from us ? " a ginger girl with bright red dress spoke with fury while others gasped " no way , she is married now to mister jordon" another lady exclaimed in disbelief
If lillian knew something it was that these women like scandles and making drama so she just rolled her eyes going back to her seat
She took lessons in the greexian language , her kingdom zwedenia took over another small kingdom by its borders from the west after massive arguments over some territories
That's why the people of greexia now are supposed to be under the same kingdom and speaking two different languages is troubling
The king announced that each zwedenian citizen should learn the greexian language and vice versa to ensure better communication and trading between the lands
The tutor entered after a couple of minutes wearing a fancy grey suit and the place grew quiter at once
A minute later and just before the tutor began his lesson Emil entered the garden taking his seat beside lillian as a safe place he indicated , he swallowed quitely while glancing at the ladies anxiously
Although his face was as hard as a stone lillian could say he was freaking out in the inside
She spent most of her life with jade who had an unreadable face around people he didn't like and people he didn't know so she was trained in noticing the slightest change in one's expression
Her lips twitched in a little smile , the man beside her is cute
He seems so indifferent on the outside but he seems to have social anxiety
Two hours passed as a decade on her while she kept moving in her chair in discomfort and throwing a bored look at the tutor something caught her attention
Emil didn't even move an ench from when they started and she stared at him blankley
Everyone seemed bored around them even the dramatic ladies but the man beside her seems to enjoy the lesson
' what a freak ! , but kinda cute ' she thought while moving her head to the front again
Jade would've rolled in boredom from the first five minutes , and she giggled a little by herself remembering jade's whining face
Everyone was standing and chatting after the lesson ended while she collected her stuff heading outside , her jade must be waiting for her
She wondered if he was alright by himself , jade is reckless he would do things he knows could hurt him
She sighed but a tall shadow kept following her and when she looked at her side she found Emil following her step by step from the side
He looked like a puppy and she prevented her laughter by great effort giving the long hall her attention
At the sight of the ladies gathered at the middle of the hall , she couldn't prevent her laughter any longer
Is he seriously running from them by following her ?
" you know as i heard Emil really did promise her by marriage after making her abort but he abandoned her , handsome men are cruel "
As they passed by the ladies lillian heard one of them say with moderate voice and the others gasped in shock
" your reputation is quite scandelous if i might say " after they exited the castle like house she muttered with a laughter
Turning to the man beside her , her eyes widened when she found him drenched in sweat
Aini kept her laughter to herself thinking that this man is quite a mess , what abortion were they talking about ?
