"No, it's for our own good anyway."
"Ours or his?"
"Mingxia, stop asking questions. I still have a lot of things to do."
Qiang left. Mingxia scoffs before she glares at the office door of Grandpa Zheng.
In an airport, a lot of people gathered as they heard someone influence going into Jiangqiao.
"Wait, isn't she the Young Lady of the Cui clan?"
"Yeah, what is she doing here?"
"Maybe something happened and she left their house."
"I don't think so, she's pushing her suitcase that came from their clan."
A beautiful lady is walking on the airport pathway, making it look like a runaway the way she walks.
She raises her shades and met everyone's eyes. The lady's name is Cui Lijuan.
Cui Lijuan is the Young Lady of the Cui clan. She is very respected by others and is the role model of most teenage girls around Xuyang.
She has achieved everything in life. Fame, money, beauty, intelligence, and more.
But one thing she still wants to have is someone who loves her.
"Lijuan!"
The said girl looked at where the voice came from and saw Meixiu, Xiaohui's wife.
She smiles at her and waves, making the taller girl walk toward her.
"Hey, it's good to see you again."
"Likewise."
Lijuan accepted Meixiu's hands. Lijuan and Meixiu were both civil with each other.
Lijuan respected her while the others also do the same because she is her wife's best friend.
Lijuan doesn't like nor hate Meixiu. She's in the middle. She doesn't know what to feel around the taller girl.
Meixiu on the other hand just didn't care about her. She wouldn't notice Lijuan if it were not for Xiaohui.
"Where's Xiaohui?"
Lijuan asks as she looks around not seeing her best friend. Meixiu rubs her nape at the question.
"Xiaohui is busy. She told me to fetch you."
"Ah, ok."
"Lijuan!"
Qiang suddenly came. Lijuan looks at the guy and she puts on a blank face. Qiang saw Meixiu and he sneered.
"Bastard, what are you doing to Lijuan?"
"She's fetching me."
"Ha! As if you will be able to ride to her broken scooter."
Qiang mock.
"Lijuan, you can come with me and I'll drop you off at your hotel."
"Xiaohui sends Meixiu to fetch me, you can put my suitcase in your car."
Lijuan doesn't like Qiang. She thinks he's so arrogant because of how he treats Xiaohui.
Lijuan has seen how cruel the Zheng family is to her best friend and she didn't like them any bit.
But then she didn't have any choice.
Because Xiaohui is a Zheng herself. Though she knew the girl never considers herself to be one of her family.
Lijuan is not dumb and she knew what kind of a grandfather the old master is. She didn't like any bit of how Grandpa Zheng treated his grandchildren.
It was as if he was controlling their lives.
Lijuan was glad that Xiaohui breaks out from the demanding old master. She knew her best friend also wouldn't like it.
And she's glad that she's in the right hand.
Because she saw how loyal Meixiu is to her wife. Even if it's just arranged by Xiaohui's father.
Qiang smiles at her and shakes his head.
"Lijuan, grandpa told me to fetch you and take you to your hotel safely. Meixiu won't be able to do that."
Meixiu could only stare at Qiang blankly. This guy has the audacity to still insult her.
It was like it was his daily routine.
"Lijuan, I didn't bring my scooter because I know you'll be carrying a lot of things. Is it ok if we took a taxi?"
Lijuan's gaze fell on Meixiu. She gave the latter a small smile and nodded.
"That's fine. I'll pay for the fare."
"No, let me. My wife told me to fetch you so I'll pay for it."
"Lijuan, I'll offer you a ride. You didn't have to take that dirty taxis around."
Qiang interrupted. Lijuan glares at him before taking the suitcase away from him as he was about to snatch it.
"Stop it Qiang, I'll go with Meixiu."
She said before looking at the taller girl who was gently tugging the suitcase from her.
"Let me carry this for you."
"Bastard! Get your filthy hands away from that expensive suitcase!"
Qiang couldn't take it. He charges forward and pushes Meixiu, causing the girl to stumble on the ground.
"Qiang! You're being too much."
Lijuan pushes Qiang aside to go and help Meixiu stands up. The man scoffs before grabbing Lijuan's hand and spinning her around to face him.
"That hurts!"
"You'll choose to be uncomfortable!?"
"Hey, get your hands off. The lady's hurting because of you."
Meixiu said, quickly snatching Lijuan away from Qiang. The girl looks at Meixiu and then at Qiang.
"Ha! Just go away. You're ruining my day."
Qiang said before he glares at the two. Meixiu then grabs Lijuan's suitcase and drags the girl away from the man.
"Are you ok?"
After walking for a while, Meixiu stops and checks Lijuan. The smaller girl smiles before patting Meixiu's hand.
"I'm fine. Let's go. I feel tired."
"Right, let me call a taxi."

"Meixiu, thank you for helping me."
Meixiu helps Lijuan to put her suitcase in her hotel room.
"It's nothing, Xiaohui also told me about it."
"I'm pretty sure she only said to fetch me."
Silence occurs upon Lijuan said that. Meixiu smiles at her cheekily and rubs her nape.
"Ah. Well, since you just came back, I wanted to help you at least."
"It's fine, thank you."
A moment of silence occurs between Meixiu and Lijuan. The two awkwardly stand away from each other as Lijuan is inside her hotel suite while Meixiu is near the door.
"Ah, Xiaohui still wants me to do something for her. I'll see you next time?"
Meixiu interrupted the air. Lijuan looks at her and nodded her head, giving the slightly taller girl a small smile.
"Go on, she'll get angry at you if you didn't do it. We'll see each other next time."
Meixiu nodded and walk away from Lijuan's hotel room.
Lijuan looks at Meixiu's fading figure before shaking her head in disbelief.
"If she's not married, I would've assumed that she likes me."
Meixiu went to her scooter but decided not to drive away for now. She went to pick up her phone and dial Renshu's number.
"Ms. Song! Can I help you with something?"
"Yes, do you know a restaurant where I can book?"
"Ah Ms. Song, if you do not know I have a restaurant! I can book it for you!"
"Alright, we need a place for later. My wife's friend just came back to Jiangqiao and my wife would like to treat her."
"Do not worry much about it Ms. Song! I can guarantee that your wife and her friend will like my restaurant."
Renshu owns a restaurant called The Tiger's Den. It's a very famous restaurant running after the famous Sky Garden.
The system goes for bronze, silver, gold, and lastly, diamond.
The bronze one is very affordable for the middle class, where they can eat at least 5 dishes.
Silver is for the upper middle class, where they can eat 10 dishes.
Gold for those millionaires, where they can eat at least 20 dishes.
And diamonds are for those respected guests that can afford the 5 million Yuan price. It has very versatile dishes to choose from around the world.
"Ok, I trust you."
"I won't let you down, Ms. Song!"
Meixiu hangs up the call. She hops in her scooter and drives away from the hotel.
