Chapter 97: 97. No longer a kid

Evening soon came, and Derek had just stepped out of the shower into his bedroom when his phone beeper to an incoming message.

He sauntered lazily and picked the phone and a tight frown formed on his face at the message he saw.

[Hi Derek. This is your sweetheart, Rejoice. I miss you already!] - Unknown number.

[I hope we can meet for lunch or dinner tomorrow? My treat.] - Unknown number.

[Please pick up my calls. I really want to hear your voice!] - Unknown number. 

He checked and he had already missed 15 calls from her in the last 2 minutes. Really? He was just about to drop his phone when a call from that number came in. He harshly dropped the phone on the bed which rolled until it was just a little distance and it would have fallen from the bed.
